Should they have included more endings to the movie or taken some out....
Or should they have put all the endings into a sort of appendicies style with the Extended Edition?

I wished they added more to the ending but in an appendix style form. I would have loved them to add the full tale of Aragorn and Arwen like the book does and what happens to each member of the fellowship after the War of the Ring.

i would have liked to see a scene of the healing houses and how faramir and Eowyn fall in love. and also how the hobbit fight for the shire!! those would have been nice to see.

I think the end was good, but I would have liked to hear more about what happened to the members of the fellowship and the other characters. And I'm still curious what happens to Frodo in Valinor.

Obviously it was Peter Jackson's choice to focus on Frodo destroying the ring and the Aragorn and Arwen love story and he puts these to endings down nicely (as in he satisfies the main stream audience who hasn't read the books!).
I'm curious about what happens to other members of the fellowship and to Frodo in the Undying Lands but after all, Tolkien didn't leave a lot of info on that either.

I luv the Lord of the Rings so much but at the end, I would of liked to see what happened to all the characters. For example: What happened to all the hobbits, arwen, legolas, grimly, arwen, but I would to hear what happened to Frodo.
I luv him to bits. He's so gorg!!!!!!!! (and his big blue eyes r 2 die 4)
Please reply

Yes, I have always wished that. I wish that PJ put down the events that Tolkien describes in his appendix, and for PJ to just have shown little clips of it. Like Merry and Pippin being buried in Rohan..and the other events in the other Fellowship characters lives.

I think it was perfect how PJ did it. I wouldn't want to see every one dying, that wouldn't do any justice for me.

The ending was just not complete. Tolkien has written what happened with the rest of the fellowship and it's so pity it isn't in the movie

It would have been nice to see all Tolkien's endings filmed, but to see everyone dying at the end would have ended on a bitter note. Perhaps if they'd filmed it and put it on the DVD or after the credits it would have worked out.

I would love to see the endings that Tolkien wrote because the story does have a ending for each character. Although almost all of the endings are sda but that is what really happened to each character

That would be really cool to have another ending. I really want to see what happens to Frodo, Gandalf and Bilbo. Also with Sam and Aragorn and Arwen. Heck, I want to know the endings for all of the characters!

I think the biggest thing I would have loved to see was seeing how each member of the fellowship finished their lives, it would tie up all the loose ends i think.
What happened to Gimli & Legolas, Pippin & Merry after Frodo left... it would have been fun to see

I wanted to see more Faramir and Eowyn. There was so much focus on Aragor and Arwen that Faramir and Eowyn were almost completely neglected. That is just my opinion, though. I would havve loved to see all the other loose ends tied up as well, of course.

Really really wishing they'd put the extra Legolas ending in!!! I know what happens in the book but it's such a pain that they never showed anything for Legolas beyond Aragorn's coronation (in the film).
There was an extra ending for Legolas and Gimli when they are exploring Fangorn Forest, but it wasn't even in the extended edition... *sob*
