Orcs can talk, move or even kill??. This is actually interesting. I have played so many RPGS and everytime I played I remember orcs were idiots who has blades because orcs are so dumb even normally they can not walk if you do not order them to do so. I found really funny when I saw in the movie. It was just hilarious that they are able to decide and make their own moves and fighting stuff. What do you think about it?? |

I meant the real fantasy world. Orcs are defined as dumb in mind so they can not even move unless you order. Have you played a fantasy while you are at your desk. People made a group and there is also a die to toss to introduce how many damage you are hit or you hit. There is generally a book about the fantasy world. If you play it, you will see it |

Lol, before tolkein, Elves were short and the plural was spelt with an f, lol. But The first time I even herd of an orc, was tolkeins, so I got quite a shock when I got this drawing book and had all these orcs with great big guts and clubs. They made them look like trolls! |

Since it was Mr. Tolkien who invented Orcs, should it not be he who decides how inteligent they should be? |

Were there any examples of any books about creatures specifically called "orcs" written before 1954 A.D.? |

Lol, Haldir... don't you hate it when you can't get your point across? lol. And i read lots of fantasy, as well as other stuff... But back on topic, lol I wouldn't exactly call orcs intelligent, they can move and talk and kill, but they slaughter each other over a shin shirt. That's not what I call intellgient, lol. ![]() |
