Beth is an amazing Christian songwriter, and has an awesome voice! she recorded her first album at age 15. here's her main site:

I know who she is! i was just at her concert last thursday. after the concert I actually ended up standing next to her while she was signing and meeting people and i was waiting for my friends. just listening to her made me like her, she seems so normal and real.

Cool Luthien! Oh, you're so lucky! I've always wanted to meet Beth!! She isn't even coming near where I live so I can't even see her at a concert.

That's very cool Luthien! I'd love to meet Beth, from what I've gathered from reading her journal entries, articles, interviews, etc. we're very much alike.
I must say though, I was kind of disappointed with her newest album. I didn't think it was as good lyrically or musically as her first... what do you guys think?

I dunno...I think I may like it a little better. The tunes are so full, and I really like them. But maybe the lyrics were a bit better in her previous album.

Yeah, I listen to it all the time.
Hey, did you guys know that Dillon isn't Beth's real last name? Maybe this was a well-known fact, but it's new to me!

What is it then?
I know a lot of artists do this... for example, St. James isn't Rebecca's real last name.

Oh, I don't know. Few do. It's for privacy reasons.
Yeah, Rebecca's last name is no secret, although I can't remember the exact name...

Well, I don't know if its for privacy reasons in Beth's case... her real name might not roll off the tongue like Bethany Dillon, or it could be something thats not advertising friendly like Pitts or something- at least that was the reason for Rebecca St James' name change, if I remember right.

She sounds really good. Even though I'm Christian, I don't listen to a lot of Christian music...maybe I should. Her music sounds really awesome. I should check it out at the music store or something.
