I haven't seen so many, only about three or four... But yeah I love musicals! Really great. And music films like Beatles' 'A Hard Day's Night'.
The SOund of Music might be my favourite. And My Fair Lady!

i love musicals!!!
i was in a musical group thingy (called Act II) that my friend's older sister, and my sister directed for like 8 years straight, although i haven't been in the last two, due to my busy shedule. very sad. the first one we did i was like 5 years old, i think. we did Annie (chorus member), The Sound of Music (Marta), Cinderella (the Queen), Peter Pan (lost 'kid'), and It's Cool in the Furnace (Narrator 4). there are more, but at the moment i can't remember them lol. my sister has also been in a group of very talented teens, called Broadway on the Driveway (Act II was actually invented for the siblings and kids too young to ben in BOD). both started out with performances on the driveway, and now we do it at churches and stuff. Broadway on the Driveway even got to be on TV and in the newspaper and stuff, they were so good.
whew, sorry if i was totally a bore to you. i just have fun explaining all of this.

I've grown up on musicals, so I definitely love them. My favorites would be...
The Phantom of the Opera
West Side Story
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (less well known, but well worth seeing- an absolute howler! )

Oh, I love Oliver. I have a friend who was in it with a professional stage company, it was such a fun play to see!!!
I wish someone knew G&S. Maybe when I get it working I can post clips from our recent production of The Mikado...our school has a few people with such amazing talent.

i've never seen the play, but the movie is hilarious, too! my sister and i when we were little, would watch the dancing scenes over and over and pretend we were right there with them. lol we even dressed up.
