I'm double posting again. Because I can, and this is rather exciting.
Guess what? I'm working at a Skillet concert in November. I'll be backstage, helping with set-up, working the merch tables, then helping them take everything down. It's practically an all day job, and also the opportunity of a lifetime, considering how much this band means to me.
I'll miss the very beginning and the very end of Skillet's set, but I'll get to see most of their show, and it's worth it to me to support them and help them out.
Just a month and 2 days!

Major Panhead here!!!! I went to a Skillet concert in December and they rocked my socks off!!!
I love a lot of their songs. Here's my list of favorites: The Last Night, Whispers in the Dark, Say Goodbye, Lucy, Comatose, Monster, Hero, and Don't Wake Me.
I <3 Skillet! W00t!

I've seen Skillet live twice this year already, and will be seeing them at least once more, maybe two. I've seen them a total of 5 times now, soon to be 6. They get better with every show I see. Their summer setlist is great-- I would highly, highly advise going to see them in the next few months.

*Reviving this thread! Huahahaha!*
I'm going to go see Skillet this December! Toby Mac is also going to be at the same concert, but I'm mostly going because of Skillet.
I just love their song Hero. I've always kind of been intrigued by the abstract meaning of a hero and heroes, and that song just magnifies it!
And I love how the female voice in some of the somewhat newer songs is their new drummer!

I don't mean to double post but... that Skillet concert mentioned in the post above?
It was AWESOME!!! Well, at least the concert itself was. They played my two most favorite songs first (Hero and Whispers in the Dark). And oh man.... it was awesome! I now have hardly any voice left this morning(the concert was last night) from all the screaming and singing I did!
The only thing that sucked was that my radiator blew out about an hour from home and my dad had to drive out to save the day and make a quick patch with plumber putty and duct tape so we could at least get the car home... So we didn't get home till 1:30... but other than that...
I had and AWESOME time!!! I love Skillet! I want to the Hero t-shirt they were selling at the concert, but sadly I has no money and my friend wanted to save her money...
