Godric had such an impact as a character there bringing him back for flashbacks in S3, which is a testament to Allan Hyde as an actor. Godric is quite a different character in the books and you may feel less sympathy for him as a character and that's all I'll say. You'll have to read for yourself why




Yes he did for similar, yet different reasons. There was no connection to Eric as in the books they are not Maker & Child.

Seriously, I love the character. She has style, she was well-written and Michelle Forbes did an outstanding acting job. Only objection is that they couldn't let her die in peace. I'm sorry she realised that Sam killed her and that her God hadn't come for her after all. She deserved it for all she had to go through!
But I'm so happy with Michelle Forbes. I mean the last few episodes when Maryann had turned the whole town into a freakshow were ... umm sorta ridiculous in many ways but she gave credibility to her character. It would all have been rather silly, especially the last episode that was a somewhat silly stereotype on old nature rituals, if it wasn't for her ambiguous character!

Oh and by the way, I'm finally where you all have been for some time now. I've just seen the finale of season two - go me!!
I've got a couple of things...

So when Sam gave himself up he truly did sacrifice himself. He couldn't be sure that Maryann wouldn't cut his heart out - and then I assume he couldn't be healed even if he had drained Bill dry. Sam's a hero!

Maryann said that Tara had summoned her when she 'exorcised her devils'. Did she mean that literally and if so, how did it happen?

Is Sookie a human? Can telepaths, shifters etc. be considered humans? Maryann was questioning her human-ness...
And the electrical/sparkling thing she does to Maryann, what was it? Is it in the books?

I can't stand Jason... he's such a badly written character. The only time he got to shine was with The Fellowship of the Sun. I really liked his interaction with umm... happy Mr and Mrs. Reverend. That's the only time his charater actually had a purpose. Liked the storyline with the church a LOT - it was brilliant! I missed the episode where he esapes from the church. Did Sarah really mean what she said about her not caring as much for Steve's mission anymore? Or was it pure lust for Jason?

Jessica is sweet. We love Jessica!

I love that they made Bill speak like he had just stepped out of a Jane Austen novel. That's adorable.

AMEN SISTER, AMEN. I am so glad I used him for a roleplay charrie. Because then I get to watch shows like this and browse sexeh pictures online. OM NOM NOM <3 You have to keep me updated for when that thing happens, so I can have a heartattack when it does.

The lack of Alcide was disapointing. But other than that wonderful episode. I wasn't too sure about a certain slash moment that was been talked about happening. But now I ship dem...that scene was HOT

Pam was being her total BAMF self. SO very glad they made her a main character this season. She's just wonderful and I completely adore Kristen and think it's uber cute she's sing her married name now <3

Russell is just how I pictured him, though I swear Talbot is meant to be human?

I was suprised to see Crystal and Calvin Norris, not to mention Hotshot, being introduced though I shall admitt I squeed big time when Andy's radio went off.

And can I just say that I absolutely love Terry Bellefleur? He is just too sweet. I mean I certainly wouldn't say no <3

I LOVED episode 2. Oh wow. I think this is going to be the best season yet. Franklin and Talbot are PERFECT. Blood sorbet ROFLMAO.

The flashback with Eric was awesome. More please. Franklin Mott was delicious. Can't wait to see all that drama unravel.
