He might be known a bit, but Alistair Griffin was the Fame Academy runner up, and he vanished after releasing 'My Lovers Prayer'. Luckily supermarkets still had his album then!

hmm...i haven't heard of any of these guys. Bethany Dillon is a Christian singer who started recorded her first big album at age 15. she's probably known fairly well to people who listen to Christian music, but i thought i'd post her here anyway. she's an awesome singer!! her new CD is coming out really soon. click on the link to look at some photos, listen to samples of her music, or read her journal entries.

Hmm. I don't know if many people outside Montana have heard of Volumen. Maybe a few. But they are a pretty rock your socks off band! If you ever get the chance, go to volumen.net. I just went to a concert, and it rocked!

This is a great thread. but i don't know so many unknown talents so i'll jsut be checkin' in here once in a while. Or I could tell you about Danish bands ...
Well di any of you Brits know the Raveonettes? they're pretty well-known here (as they also are Danes) but I think they live in England... Listen to them! now!
And Mew? Live in England too. great band.
