It's not really my style of music but I'm not going to lie, it was a good song. Happy

"Bis zum Tod" - Mina Harker feat. Dero
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZyvjF18XVI

* This was the first song I heard when I was told that Mina Harker was going solo. She has done backup for so many songs with Oomph! and Rammstein, it's nice to see her make her own albums. Happy

^it was nicer than I expected. I'm not generally a fan of German music ( too many hilarious holiday memories involving Schlagers and yodeling) and I'm more a Faun kinda girl if German is necessary. Teehee Still, her voice is pretty nice and fitting for the genre. Happy

The Everlasting by Manic Street Preachers. This is a very special song to me. Quite simply because it's the first pop song I quite vividly remember hearing ( I was 7 an for the rest of it mostly remember medieval music - which I was obsessed with when I was little). I didn't speak any English yet, so I only understood it was full of a strange combination of sadness and happiness. My dad used to dance with me to this track ( more like lift me in the air and twirl me about Happy ). I recently re-discovered the song, and it's quite lovely. The clip is very interesting too.
the world is full of refugees
they're just like you and just like me
but as people we have a choice
to end the void with all its force
so don't forget or don't pretend
it's all the same now in the end
it was said in a different life
destroys my days and haunts my nights

in the beginning when we were winning
when our smiles were genuine
but now unforgiven the everlasting, everlasting

Heh, I vaguely remember that, but tbh my exposure to pop music at that age was Steps and S Club 7... and the Lighthouse Family. Yeah I'm that cool. I like the lyrics but the music doesn't quite do it for me.

And now for something completely different.

A parody of Alicia Keys' 'New York'. It's brilliant, and welsh.

^ I would have posted the MV with the English subs but... uhhh, it's a little graphic. Lol The whole song is a bash against pedophiles. It's awesome! If you look up the video you will understand all. XD

"Godsibb" - Yuki Kajiura (Xenosaga ep. III OST)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5krINDGIeqw

* I recently created a music replacement for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion with music from the Xenosaga series. The game was epic as it was but my music replacement makes it a little more epic. Imagine listening to this when you load up the main menu. Wink Your welcome PC Oblivion players. Lol

I liked the first half or so, it was pretty catchy. Then it got sort of repentative and I mostly though "Yeah, yeah I got it, it's your world. It's not like I wanted to steal it. It looks desert-y and contains too much sand"Tongue

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmPNuruWMTA&feature=channel

Hunting for Witches - Bloc Party. Basically, the lyrics to this song are in a few simple words why politics currently suck so much.

It doesn't hurt it's catchy as hel and that they just generally make lovely music Teehee

I agree with you Aerlinn, I thought the song was too repetitive. Tongue But anyway...

Here“s this song by a portuguese metal band called "Moonspell", the song is called "Luna":

Oh I like it! I have a definite weakness for dramatic music without too much grunting, so yeah. I liked the gothy feel to it. At one point his way of singing reminded me of Type 'O Negative. I mean, different voice, but the way of singing. Yes. Happy

And no, you're not alone. No, my cousins, you're not alone.
You're in our talons now, and we're never letting go.
You're in our headlights, frozen, and no, we're not stopping.
You may not believe, but even we were scared at first.

I like this videa The animals morphing into flowers and things burning and living and dying just attracts me I suppose. I like the chaos of life. Teehee Even when this is a rather sad story.

Umm.. too hard rock-ish for my taste but I'm sure it would be fun to sing to it for something like October Fest.. which I've never been to.. but yeah.. Happy

This song is with the Belgian choir that made covers of a lot of pop/rock hits. They're good but personally I just like this one. Respire by Scala & Kolacny Brothers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ft7UvrqnhA

PS. The original song by Mickey 3D is quite an interesting - and rather sad - comment to mans abuse and pollution of Earth.
