I think they were a great pair. She didn't marry Aragorn because she thought he was handsome or cool or brave or skillful or whatever. She married him because she loves him. She loved him so much that she gave up her immortality for him. I am personally glad she married him in the end and think that they deserve it!

I think that Aragorn did never want Arwen to stay in Middle-Earth. He wanted to give her antoher life.
