I agree Mrs.Haldir.
They have no idea what to do with their hormones and usually end up humiliating themselves and others.

You know, I'm going to have to disagree with my old post. Only 95% of high school guys are walking cabbages.

Lol. I've already exhausted the supply of not-cabbages in my school.
But we don't even have that many of the bad ones to begin with.

Haha, your question made me laugh. I think every man has his moments. Some consistently live in them. Others have them and are otherwise smart. lol.
Sometimes, it doesn't matter how old they are. Some never grow up.

Just 95%???? SUre it's not more? heh.
New question: how do you stop liking a guy? I've been trying to stop liking this guy at my church...but to no avail. If anything, I end up liking him more.

I actually think that percentage in pretty true. I've had a few guys friends in high school who were actually very decent guys, quite mature and respect toward woman and protective of their female friends. I had a friend on the football team who was a great guy and looked out for me. He was one those guys who was very respectful towards females and treated how they should be treated.

Aw. I had a similar problem with a guy (but not at church).
I am a firm believer in the out of sight out of mind for guys I'm...lusting for, but my first question for you would have to be, Why do you need to stop liking him?

You do not stop liking a guy, no matter how hard you try. Once you've discovered you're attracted to one, BLAM. It's over. You have to wait for it run its course and for you heart to be done with him, because no matter how fast your brain says no, your heart might just try to go on saying yes forever. I've tried to stop liking my ex-boyfriend for several weeks, now close to two months, and I'm still finding myself repressing feelings for him.
On a more positive note... I find the quickest way to get one's heart to agree with one's brain is by distraction. Go out there and find you another boy!

A: because he's in a youth group that I do not like; and he thinks the world of the leaders, when they've backstabbed me and my parents, and are not acting like Christians (but in the church, why would I be surprised?)
B: because (and this does sound silly for anybody who hasn't been where I am) I don't think that you should get into relationships before you're ready to get married. Also, I haven't been told by God that I can date, and I don't believe I'm ready.
C: he's younger than me, and I don't think our maturity levels are close to each other; he's pretty immature. (But he's in high school while I'm in college).
I just try to steer clear of him, speak to him whenever he passes by me, and leave it at that. He seems content to ignore me, and while I want to be his friend, ignoring him in return seems to be the easiest.

Ooh, younger than you. I have never dated anyone younger than me, or my age for that matter. The only freshman I have ever been on a date with was a freshman in college. It's just something I have had stuck in my head since I was a little girl... that you always date boys who are older than you, which is ridiculous for me to think since my mom is older than my dad. Yet somehow... every last loser redneck I have dated has been at least a year older than me. And tall. Let us not forget tall. And there is an abundance of J names.
Jacob, Jared, James, Joshua, John... and the J list continues. I am talking to a Jonathan currently... And a Clay, but he hardly counts since we just flirt casually, nothing serious
Does anyone else find such a pattern with the boys they like or have dated? Or am I the only one with a sacred alphabet letter....

Age really isn't an issue (especially since it's only 11 months), maturity is.
No, I haven't really noticed a pattern in the guys I like: except that 3 of them (including this current one) are/were football players, and one that I kinda liked for a while was simply a scumbag and a jerk. Jerks and FB players go together though, don't they?

Totally agreed. I've dated a lot of football players in my time, and I really think it's the hitting. I mean... there's got to be something wrong with a guy if he'll strap on pads and run full force at someone with fifty pounds or more on him. Got to be.
Though I have noticed that baseball players are generally worse.
