I haven't but I'm going to Those night tours sound like fun, but I think I'd still prefer daytime sightseeing. It gives a better view of the surrounding country.

When I took part in the People to People program we passed right by a Hobbit hole they brought into town and placed along the road. I begged and pleaded to just stop for a few minutes, but I was denied. The US Gov had us on a tight schedule so we couldn't stop. So yes and no. I passed by but couldn't stop and explore like I wanted. I am defiantly going back one day though to wander around and unleash my inner Hobbit though!

I don't see why they wouldn't I think if more people wanted to do that the better. It would be a more immerse environment and more pleasing to the guests from the land of weird clothes. Oh dang now I already started to think like a Ranger. If that ever happens let me know and I'll come and join you two for work. Xd

You can actually see Hobbiton from across the river. But yeah we thought it would be cool if people came over a hill and saw our ranger camp and could visit with us and everything.

If I went to visit and saw a Ranger camp that would make my day! Ah let's face it it would make my year! Oh sweet! That would be an epic visit in game. I was thinking for a moment if LOTRO had Sarn Ford but I don't think so. Another reason to buy WitN.

Captain Boromir wrote: My cousin, sister and I went back to a creek that is behind my house one night brought brats, rootbeer and started a little fire and played like we were at Sarn Ford. I parked the truck on top of the hill behind a tree, hooked my mp3 player up to it, turned the volume up and put the song from it on repeat. It was an awesome night. Someday if I can afford to get Boromir's Banner and a big tent we are looking at, we plan to do it again sometime.

That sounds like a really fun and great night. It is a really nice track, I am listening to it now. I kind of wish I lived closer to some fellow Ringers or anyone on this site, really. I love travelling up to the Eastern Sierras on the edge of California. I can never get anyone to be my adventuring buddy anymore. Then again that is quite a long trip from where I am, but do-able for a weekend trip. Hopefully once I get my Boromir costume done I can take a friend or two up so we can explore and do a few photoshoots in that costume and my 2013 Lara Croft.

I'll definitely be posting pictures when it is finally done. It is going to take a long time because of funds and that a lot of stuff is super expensive. Also need more practice with sewing as I have lived with my father for most of my life and missed out on that lovely skill to it's fullest. I can mend clothes but when it comes to a sewing machine... I can make a nice pillow but that's about it. I am also a perfectionist so it is going to be a long journey to make most of this costume by hand. I really would love to have a simple ranger costume as well. Someday...
