I am currently reading "The Warden and the Wolf King" which is the 4th book in the wingfeather saga. It's a great series of books!

I'm still iffy about Eragon's transformation into an elf-man in Eldest so everytime his flawless traits/actions are described, it just makes me wanna punch him. (I'm not very far into this particular book yet since I keep going back and forth between 3 books) Have you read it?

I read the first book and... honestly I couldn't go beyond that. I liked the story and basics of the ideas but I could see some places the book seemed like it was going that I didn't care for. the writing also, I thought was a little amaturish.... though I should watch my words because mine might be no better. lol
I've just always wondered about the other books and how everything ended since I had read the first. My sister said the last book was the worst of them all in her opinion.

I thought the writing was a little amateur-ish as well, but I decided to cut him a bit of slack because he published Eragon when he was only 19... which is really young for an author! I don't love the series but I can't just read one book and leave myself hanging - I always have to find out how it ends, whether or not I enjoy the material.

lol Ah, gotcha. I'm pretty picky when it comes to reading. Partially because I am an extremely slow reader... and it's hard for me to keep my attention on the books as well.
So it's go to keep my attention and be interesting enough that the slow going is well worth my time. lol
