The new Wonder Women movie

Was entertaining but not quite what I was expecting.

What were you expecting?

I quite enjoyed Wonder Woman when I saw it a couple weeks ago.

The last Movie I watched was Emperor of the North Pole as the Blu Ray I ordered finally arrived Friday.

I guess I was kind of expecting it to be set more in the pressent day/future. Then having it set during WW I kind of threw me off. It wasn't bad, just different than wjat I was thinking. Also, on the more positive aide of the "not what I was expecting" I was figuring on a very serious movie (which it was more or less) but was pleasently surprised at how much good humor they had in it. A lot of movies the "funny" parts I don't find terribly funny but I thought they did a good job on their humor.

Last movie I watched was Transformers Age of extinction.

I wasn't surprised by the WW1 timeframe since they showed a picture a while back in one of the other movies of her in WW1. Love this movie. The Chief was based on a Canadian first nation war hero from the Calgary area.

The last movie I watched was the 1930 All Quiet On The Western Front.

“The Avengers” once again. And at about 1:48 hours of the film, just before Captain America gives The Hulk the short and very much not sweet instruction “Hulk – smash!”, Iron Man says to Hawkeye “better clench up, LEGOLAS.” Awright! Even The Avengers (2012) have seen PJ’s LoTR (earlier)!!! :jump: :jump: :jump:

Gotcha. I guess I might have not been taken off guard if I had watched a trailer. :p Any more I make it a point not to watch trailers. It seems like either they (often times) make a good movie look stupid to me or make a lousy movie look great. So either way.... *shrugs*!

Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders. Incredibly surreal, bizarre, creepy and yet utterly beautiful and ethereal. It's one of those films that you can't describe, it has to be experienced. It comes with the most gorgeous and magical score as well. Czech cult classic from 1970.

Saw Spiderman last Friday night. It was rather entertaining!

Looking forward to seeing Dunkirk. The trailer is pretty awesome!

Good old movie! I'd like to watch that again.

I just watched 'The Illustrated Man' with Rod Steiger... a low budget early 70's film, but Rod owned the character. Would love to see a good remake of this.
