Rochnur was quiet all through Malhock's sad story. Could it be true? The man was convincing, though almost all criminals thirsting for freedom were. And yet, this man had somthing else. Rochnur believed his story, but didn't know why. Rochnur caught the man's eyes, and held the gaze. The eyes that stared back at him were beaten, yet there was a glimmer behind them. Still holding the Malhock's gaze, he asked
"So what do we do now?"

Cora smiled slightly at Deawen then glanced towards Rochnur at his question. She let out a pondering sigh. "As Deawen said, we shall do what we can to get his situation recognized fairly..." she replied firmly, standing to her feet once more.

Rochnur sighed and shifted his gaze away from Malhock. "I agree."

Renald had been listening, but at the same time moving slightly towards the wheel of the wagon and he began touching for a sharp edge even in the wood just to cut his bonds. He needed to get back to Bree and his inn, far away and out of this mess as fast as possible. He had no intentions of being hanged by filthy gondorians.

Malhock looked them all. The rohirm wouldn't belive his story after killing those inocents. He contemplated escape again and shut his eyes shifting his hands in the rope.

Cora had her focus on the prisoner, and took no heed of the thief's attempt to escape (:D hehe) . "Malhock.... you escape and you make it worse for yourself... please, take heed of my word. You come calmly, and things will work out more easily" She explained quietly.

Malhock nodded. He stopped for a moment then while she wasn't looking continued to try and loosen the rope. His wrists were being burnt from the friction but he could withstand the pain.

The rope hissed strangely from the friction, and Cora turned her gaze again to the prisoner with a warning glance, and giving him a chance to obey that alone, she turned to see to hooking the horse back to the slightly charred wagon. (Don't ya just love elven rope? It has the darndest ways of getting its owner to notice...)
