"Ah... That may delay them a day," Arinae murmured, biting down on her lower lip. She turned slightly to respond to the elf's question. "Corus brought news of more enemy forces gathering.... but he also carries news of a Gondorian army, just approaching Edoras by now..."

The host had reached Edoras just around noon and the sun shone brightly but somewhat muffled under the mist. Many eyes from men did strain towards the Mounds of the Kings as they had been covered in white flowers.
Aemornion approached the gate of the city first and it was open for they noticed the host from afar. Slowly in file they trotted up closer towards the great hall. The streets had been almost deserted but there had been women and children that looked upon them with interest and relief. Also guards and strong men lingered in the place. Edoras was not deserted afterall.
Just before the steps, Aemornion dismounted and walked up towards the enterence of Meduseld, guards sprang to their feet and welcomed him in the costum of their land. "King Eomer is expecting you milord" said one of the guards and he nodded towards the doorwardens to open the enterence "Follow me" he said to Aemornion and with that they entered the Golden Hall.

Rhayader kept his gaze upon the orc battle line. All he wanted to do now was charge into them and end this waiting. He was acustomed to waiting in the wild but this was different. In the wild he would be awake and fully attentive, out here he was bored. Bored of waiting for the enemy or reinforcments to come. But at the same time he was concious of every move and slightly paranoid. It was an odd feeling.
He gazed out into the open for a long time, not blinking then he saw Corus return.
"Corus...?"
He turned to look at him and smiled.
"Glad he's back."

(Malrid, if you don't mind doing it, it might give you an extra part to play and it would make it more interactive between all of the RP'ers, if you get my meaning... I absolutely despise having the RP's broken up by lack of interactive effort... *chuckles*)

(Ok I will then)
The doors flung open and in walked a Gondorian captain.
"Ah our cries for help went unheard."
Eomer stood from his throne and walked to the captain with open arms.

Aemornion bowed low to one knee then stood up firmly and saluted
"Hail! King Eomer." Aemornion said "Bitter times come and the bond between Rohan and Gondor has not withered. Today we honour once more the pledge and the oath our ancestors took many long years ago" he looked at Eomer with reverence for he beheld a living legend stand infront of him tall and proud "You have the command over my sword and those of my men" he inclined his head respectfully

Eomer smiled.
"Indeed our people's bond has not withered. I do not wish to have command over you and your men. You are here of your own accord and I am grateful for that. Gondor's people truely are fine people."
He smiled, his wrinkels contorting.
"What is you name captain?"

"my name is Aemornion milord, son of Berenion...and I consider myself honoured to be asked from such a high lord as yourself" he replied returning a brief smile managing to push away the grim face for a moment and the slight pressure. "Many mighty stories had been woven over the years past and to look upon a living example is a mighty gift indeed!" he inclined his head once again out of pure respect and the fact that the pierecing eyes looked at him kindly.

((Tell me when you want Arwen to came in, Malrid and Aemornion. Don't know what I should do with her...:taps chin, deep in thought:))
Tindomerel nodded slightly to Corus. "Elessar is quick about these kind of things," she said, a wild grin on her face, "Good to have you back also, Corus."
She looked around and spotted Rhayader, smiling at him. "Pardon me..." she said, walking over to the ranger.
Tindomerel sat by Rhayader's side. "Hello," she said, smiling at him ever so sweetly, "How are you?"
A strand of her hair fell back in her amber eyes. She tried to blow it from her face, only half remembering Rhayader was right there.

"Ah! Aemornion! A fine name indeed."
He waved the captain towards his table, where Eomer ate all his meals.
"Come, sit, have a drink with me and we can discuss the issues at hand."
Two servants placed two mugs of ale on the table.

Aemornion sighed slightly and shifted uneasy his weight. "Forgive me my insolence and I am greatly thankful for your kind gesture, but i would rather that we discuss the matters at first, and if there would be some time spare a drink or two later." he said in a low, almost ashamed voice realising he declined the King and his demands but the need for haste was deep within him and he didnt feel right to feast while the host waited outside counting perhaps even their last living hours.

Arinae slipped away from the discussions, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of what they were to do while they waited. Noticing a commotion among the ranks of both enemy and Rohirrim, she made her way towards the segment. "What is happening this time?" she murmured the question.
"The enemy is stirring, we believe several battalions are beginning their attack," a rider replied with a slight fear in his voice, and it was fear justly grounded, for it was more than possible that this enemy could crush them at any moment.
Arinae refused to let the fear take hold of her mind, keeping her focus on the task at hand. She directed for a quarter of their own forces to line in defence, insisting the enemy be met halfway, to cut down on the risk of the camp itself being overrun.

Eomer nodded.
"Very well. The situation is dire indeed. We thought we had the remaining orcs surounded at Helm's Deep, but we under estimated. They now encircle our forces and I have none left to send to our troops."
He looked sternly at the captain.
"I need Gondor's aid to aid my people who are traped."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rhayader smiled at Tindomerel.
"I feel fine..."
He saw the battle line being formed and roce to his feet.
"Battle at last..."
He drew his sword and quickly kissed Tindomerel.
"Sorry but I must."
He ran to Airnae with his sword drawn and feeling ready to kill.
"Where do you want me?"
((This is going to be my last post for about a half hour, then I'll be back...))
Tindomerel followed Rhayader, pulling her hood over her head, hiding her face, and hugging close to what shadows she could find. She made sure that she still had her sword. She watched as Rhayader spoke to Arinae. She was set on following him into the battle. She had grown so bored. She needed to do something.
