Isty woke up she seemed to have nodded off, she looked around hoping to spot someone she knew and wanted to see.
She spotted Bondage and screamed, jumping up and ran over to him and hugged him.
"Meh i've missed my huggle monster" she said laughing

Haldir spun around. "Pull yourselves together everyone!" she snarled. "I think they've already heard Bondage!"

Legolas nodded grimly. "Then we shall have to be swift." he replied. "You'll need extra warriors for our enemies not to suspect a trap. I and part of the Guard will aid you. The rest will remain for the second wave."

Haldir agreed. "All of you!" she turned around to look at their army. "Attack from behind while we distract ... and make haste!"

Legolas signaled to the small group from the Guard that was to follow them. "Move out!" he cried. "Use your weapons to defend yourselves, but do not strike the child!"

haldir looked uneasy. "They better be careful with those brutal weapons of theirs..."

She struck a match and lit the firecracker. "The diversion."

leaha stood above the brooding flams and before any one could say anything waved her hands baove it and at the other end of the battle that part of their camp set fire. THe part farthest from where Conner was and where they kept their food and weapons

Haldir stared. "What are you doing?!?!?!"

The firecracker exploded with a bang and the army below immediately turned towards the source of the noise, and made towards them. "Leaha!" squawked Haldir. "tell our army to attack them from behind!"

Haldir and Craig went off with Legolas to greet the army that held Connor captive

Legolas reached for his bow, then stopped concerned that if sorcery were involved any arrow fired could be redirected toward Connor. Instead he grabbed his twin daggers and signaled to the remainder of the Guard to be ready to strike from the rear.

Haldir took out her bow as well. "My arrows cannot be enchanted," she said, handing Legolas a number of her arrows. "Aim to shoot the one protecting the one holding Connor," she ordered.

Legolas nodded, putting away his daggers. "I shall be ready. Get enough soliders near Connor to keep him from being trampled." Legolas replied, taking aim.

Haldir notched her arrow and aimed at the Uruk running at them. "Fire!" she screamed. She let go of the arrow and shot the Uruk's left shoulder.

Legolas fired his arrows, slowing making his way toward the center of the battle field. Seeing that one of the Guard was near, he took aim at the captor. A silent thought passed between both prince and guard as the solider quickly took position to retrieve the child. With that Legolas fired an arrow at the creature holding Connor, shooting him once in the arm. The guard quickly retrieved Connor as the child fell, getting him out of danger. Legolas then drew another arrow, shooting him in the neck. With that the guard handed the crying child to Legolas. "Hush, brave one." he said gently. "You will be with your parents soon." With that Legolas raced back to Haldir and handed Connor to her. “Take Connor and find Leaha and Corin. Our company will continue the diversion."

Haldir took Connor and kissed him on the head. "Don't you worry .. " she said soothingly. "Grandma is here." She hugged him tightly, then looked around for Leaha. "I need a place to put him," she said urgently, glancing back at the rapidly approaching army of Uruks. She spun Asfaloth around and galloped off to look for Leaha.

Legolas smiled as he watched Haldir gallop away with Connor. Ride hard. No matter what happens, don't let them find of the both of you. he thought silently. With that he turned to face the approaching army of Uruks, his eyes aflame. The Guard of Mirkwood quickly flanked their prince, weapons drawn. "No matter what, we shall hold them here!" Legolas commanded. On his signal, the Guard let loose a volley of arrows, striking the approaching army.
