Morwen fineshed off the last twenty or so orcs who had begged for mercy and returned to Boramire, who had killed a good number. Not one orc was left, thier arches haveing had picked off those that fled. The men lay around congratulating each other, as Morwen walked over to him. "Do you think the'll trust us now?" he said in his husky voice
"Of course not" she replied with a light laugh and bent her head back for his kiss

Laure and Aramel had also killed off their last batch of orcs, the Elves who were dear friends to Laure came over and she thanked them. They would stay the night and return to Lorien in the morning.

Laure took Faeron to one side, she needed to ask him about Lathron and where he was. "Has he returned?" Laure asked Faeron quietly, her face deathly pale.

"He has, he will tell his tale to you when you return, I cannot tell you here. He gave me the necklace to give to you...was it yours?"

"Yes, he gave it to me but I gave it to him to look after when I was riding. Surely you remember?"

Faeron nodded, "I do, too many tears were shed because of my son, he will make it up to you now." He added and smiled. "You could travel back with us tomorrow."

Laure said nothing, she didn't want to abandon her friends but her desire to see the man she loved with every bone in her body was so strong she didn't know what to do. She looked up and saw Morwen and Boromir coming over.

Morwen brushed pased Laure rudely and caried onto her sister, "Elenwe, this Boramire of Gondor. Boramire this unfortunately is my sister" He bowed low,but there was the fainest sneer at the back or his eyes

Elenwe said nothing but marched past her sister, she was so sick and tired of her comments, she hated her so much that she'd kill her given the chance. Tulie was comfortable in Laure's cloak and she slept peacfully, unaware of her mother's heartache.

Laure smiled weakly at Aramel, she really had no idea what she should do for the best.

Tulie walked over to Laure, her face was pale and she looked upset. "Are you ok Laure?" She asked her friend.

Laure looked at Elenwe and showed her the necklace, she'd know what she meant.

"You have to go to him Laure, you can't let him go again." Elenwe said softly. "I can help the others get to Gondor, Boromir will want to get us there anyway as it's his home and Morwen is going wherever he is so we'll be ok. And Aramel will be here." Elenwe knew that Laure would go, she just needed some gentle persuasion.

Laure nodded, "I'll go back with Faeron tomorrow but I'll return and help you all again." She said quietly.

Morwen smiled triuphantly. Then turned and kissed Boramire once more. "Will she do as you bid, and follow me to Gondor?" he asked , "O yes my love, it dosn't look like it but she dose have a brain!"

Elenwe smiled, "I think we can all camp outside Fangorn tonight, the air is warm enough out here but it is far to close inside the old wood. Will you stay with us tonight?" She asked Laure.

"Yes, I will stay tonight and I agree with you about being outside Fangorn, those who don't know it well should stay out." Laure relplied, "Let's get the other's out and in a cluster, we don't want anyone starying too far." She said.
"Get everyone out and grouped together, build a camp fire but don't cut any of the wood from the trees." Laure called to the Evles in her native tongue. They all agreed and went over to Fangorn, some of them leading their horses through the carcasses.

Aramel went over to Morwen and Boromir, "would you pile up the orc carcasses? They need burning and the Rohirrim wouldn't appreciate us leaving it for them to clear up." She asked, most polietly.

Boramire nodded, he didn't trust her, (thanks to Morwen's silver tougn) but what she said made sense. He swiftly ordered his men to pile up the orcs and burn them in a huge pile, which thy did. even though the camp was up-wind the stench of burning flesh could still be smelt. But the gondoriens did not seem to mind, they simply went about thier work. Then returned to the others setting up a wach.

The Elves and Gondorians set up a circle of people around the villagers to prevent them getting attacked again. Elenwe soon went to sleep but Laure had dificulty, she couldn't stop thinking about Lathron.
