In their excitement to reach Rivendell the group began to trot and then gallop their horses. Finally, they saw ahead gates standing tall in front of the fair city of Rivendell. They entered, unmounted their horses, and stood in awe of this paradise that they had entered.
Larael turned around in place staring at the beauty of the nature that surrounded her. It was so unlike her real world where surroundings like this would only be seen in a nature park instead of in your backyard. And boy was this one big backyard!
The group continued walking unaware of the Elves that gawked and stared at them as they passed. They stopped in a courtyard just outside the entrance to Elrond's home to listen to a stately elf.
He told the traveler's to send word to Elrond of their business in Rivendell, and that there presense was requested at council the next evening.

Luthien could only wonder at the beauty around her. It was far better than anything she had ever imagined. And the colours! Nothing like the boring ones Earth has, she thought.

When the group was approached by the Elf, she glanced at the others, then curtsied as gracefully as she could muster. This was a male-dominated society. Perhaps FaZ or Curu should answer?

She shook those thoughts out of her head, and said, "Thank you, we are honoured to be guests in his Lordship's home. Tell Lord Elrond that the Lady Galadriel has sent us from her Golden Wood, and we would be pleased to attend tomorrow. As far as we are aware, our presence brings no danger, but the circumstances of our arrival are mysterious at best." Hoping that was what the Elf was looking for, she finished with a smile.

"Our purpose here...?" Gwenneth looked back at Pandora. "Why did we come here?" She whispered. But she was feeling very excited that they were to be attending the Council.

But before she could recieve an answer her eyes and ears caught upon a sight that caught her attention. A new group of people had entered Rivendell, they too looking a bit like they were wandering, and they were definitely not elves.

"Wait a second..." Gwenneth thought out loud to herself. One of the girls she recognized. "Luthien!"
Gwenneth could not help but run up to the girl and embrace her. "It's so good to see you!" She could hardly believe it. Her eyes searched the rest of the group for familiar faces, soon shouting a greeting to a teenage looking boy.
"FaZ?" Gwenneth questioned, almost positive it was him. "It is you, isn't it?" She grinned broadly and gave him a hug as well.

When Lothwen finally entered Rivendell, she was amazed. It was nothing like she had imagined - it was much more. The colors were the first thing that she noticed. There were maple trees whose leaves shone with golden and deep orange colors, while slender birches bore lush green canopies of leaves. Another thing that Lothwen's eyes were drawn to was the elven style of architexture. The gentle curves and twists of the many buildings and fountains blended in with nature, just as the Elves did. Turning, Lothwen caught a glimpse of an Elf. She cried out, glad, and ran towards her. As Lothwen approached, the Elf turned, her dark hair tumbling over her shoulders. When she saw the Elf's face, Lothwen stopped short, for she knew who this elven lady was. "Lady Arwen," she stammered. "It is a pleasure to meet you." Bowing slighty, Lothwen studied Arwen's features. She looked just as she had thought the elven princess would look. "And it is my pleasure to meet you," Arwen said to Lothwen in reply. "What might your name be?" she added. "Oh, I am called Lothwen," I said. "I am visiting Imladris so that I may attend your father's Council." "Indeed," Arwen said. "I hope that we may meet again. In the meantime, my father has asked me to meet him. I must leave you now, but look for me here tomorrow," she said, smiling. "I most certainly will," I said. When Arwen left, I continued to stand where she had left me. I was amazed, happy, and shocked all together. I've just met Arwen Evenstar!" I thought to myself.[/i]

After changing into an elven gown given to her by Arwen, Elenriel approached the messenger. “I can not discern my purpose here, lord. I was sent to Middle-earth by a whirlwind and I landed in Mirkwood where I was rescued by Prince Legolas from an orc assault. I then traveled from Mirkwood with the Prince and his companions along Old Forest Road. We were attacked by a company of orcs once along our journey and hastened to reach Imladris. I know not if other roads are blocked or if others were hindered in their journey. I hope this has helped somewhat. Thank you for the invitation to the council.” she replied before bowing before the elven messenger and departing to explore Rivendell.

Luthien heard a shout behind her, and turned just in time to see- "Gwen!" They hugged as if they were long lost sisters, both beaming joyfully. After Gwen spoke to FaZ, Luthien piped up, "I am so glad you're here, I have waited so long to actually meet you! And, why, you look even prettier than in your pictures!" She couldn't stop smiling, this was the most amazig time ever. First FaZ, Curunir and Larael, now Gwen! She could almost be certain Ellie had found his way here, he was never to far away from excitement.

Larael heard a shout behind her, and before she knew it Gwen had appeared out of no where and thrown her arms around Luthien. Larael laughed,"Gwen, is that you? Thought I'd never see you here... this is awesome!! I Elegost here too? I'm assuming he is, as whenever your around he's never far behind."

Eruraina looked around, newcomers were comeing. She saw many people that might have been from A-U, but being as shy as she was, Eruraina kept quiet. She wasn't very good at meeting so many new people at once...

Elenya walked slowly through Rivendell, taking in the beautiful gardens and buildings. She looked up as an elf approached her. "My lord bade me inform you that your presence is requested at the council tomorrow e'en." He finished his message and bowed. Elenya bowed back, feeling self-concious. "I'll be there!" she said, before realizing that probably wasn't the correct response. The elf had bowed again and was moving away, though, so he must have gotten her meaning.

Elenya is in Rivendell!

Turning, Lothwen saw Larael, who was looking at Gwen and Luthien! "Larael! Luthien! Gwen! You're here too?" she said happily. "Guess what?" Lothwen rattled on. "I just met Arwen!" A smile appeared on Lothwen's face.

Luth spun around again, to see a vaguely familiar face. "Varda? You're here too? Oh, this is too good to be true!" She hugged her excitedly. "You met Arwen? Lucky! Did she look at all like Liv Tyler?" The smile on her face could not be wiped off, even if she heard her hockey team had lost the Stanley Cup!

Lothwen hugged her sister back. "Arwen did look something like Liv, but she had gray eyes, just like J.R.R. Tolkien wrote it." Lothwen nodded knowingly. (((check the book - Arwen did have gray eyes! )))

Idril has reached Rivendell and is now pulling out of the RP because she has no ability to keep up with those who are able to post three posts. Thanks for the entertainment, though I am unable to participate, and I hope you all have a great time! Not like you'd miss me, you barely know I'm there. To the Mods: Thank you for creating such an entertaining RP, but it is too difficult for me to keep up with... everyone is perfectly capable of three posts, but I regret to say I am not. Thanks again, and please do inform me when you have such an exciting RP which might actually give a chance to those who are like me.

Elenwe got of Namo and led him to the stables, so grand and beautifully made, like none that she'd ever seen before. Once she'd unloaded the bagage off him she took it outside where she was told by an Elf that a council was being held "tomorrow e'en." She thanked the Elf for the message and old him that she would attend.

Rivendell was just how she pictured it although maybe not with groups of ordinarily dressed people hugging each other in excitement. She put down the bags and sat on a carved bench, she wondered whether anyof her AU family would be here. She'd met [s]Curi[/s] Sharku but her daughters weren't here, and her sister she couldn't see. Pearl was bound to be round here somewhere but she was less certain. She'd heard Gwen's name mentioned but having never met Gwen it as unlikely that she'd know who she was.

Elenwe got up again and went over to the people she had come with, FaZ, Sharku, Luthien, Lothwen and maybe some others, she couldn't remeber.
"Where shall I put these bags and things?" She asked to no one inparticular.
