I'm a big fan of latin music. Being latin myself, this music has been a huge part of my life. I don't listen a lot to salsa and merengue but I know how to dance to it. My favorite latin artist are La Oreja de Van Gogh, Maná and Shakira

I love latin music!!!! I am only half latina, so we just really started geting into it, but I like it. My sister is IN LOVE with samba music!!! Have you ever heard of the Putumayo record label? They put out samplers of latin music. We have like five of their samplers. My fave band at hte moment is "S-Tones inc." I think they are italian or brazilian, however, or maybe french? Idk, this is off topic. i also like an Argentine group called "Acida" but I don't think they exist anymore.

I really like Juanes. We sing his songs in Spanish class quite a bit. Spanish is such a beautiful song, especially when it is sung. I also really like the spanish guitar sound.

I LOVE Juanes, he's definitely one of my all-time favorites...
and I know what you mean by spanish guitar, it is pretty cool. I especially love flamenco guitar, i think it's amazing...

Cool!
The thing about Latin music (especially traditional) is that is happy music. it makes you want to dance and have a good time

so true. I was just thinking last night that the only kind of dance club I would ever go to is a latin music club. THAT would be fun...
I think I need to get La 5a Estacion CD, I like their music and it's all over the radio.
That reminds me, i really should listen to the latin station more!

La 5ta Estacion are a good band! I love their new song 'Me Muero' although it's been a little bit overplayed
