Bane bowed his mockingly and walked back to his ranks. He walked though the bald Banes to the rampart of his ship. A clone approached him.
"My lord?"
"Kill them all."
The clone bowed and the order was passed along, the circle began to close in as the first wave of clones marched toward the hopelessly outnumbered jedi.

Inara spoke to the Jedi behind her "May the Force be with you all. Prepare for attack"
All the Jedi got into defensive modes, apart from Inara who was in an attack position. This was her destiny as Master Khalla had said. "Everything I've been taught, everything I have learned has been leading up to this very moment." she thought to herself.

The clones got within twenty feet then broke into a charge, all holding their sabers up and bringing them down on the jedi knights.
"So it starts... Send the next wave."
The order was sent and the second rank of clones began slowly marching to the jedi.

One of the clones came lunging at Inara, his lightsabre swinging at her neck. Deftly leaping up, she backflipped in mid air landing on her feet she took a swing at him, there sabres met in the middle. The crackling and buzzing noise the only thing Inara could hear. The clone grinned at her, the same maniacal grin of Bane. She concentrated on a pile of the rubble left over from the air assault and with the force she lifted it up with ease and swung it at the clones head. Delivering a crushing blow.
She didn't have time to even think of a next move when two more clones came rushing toward her. She twirled her lightsabre, as if daring them to come forward.

"Uh oh" Rhodrian felt something and looked back down towards the planets. Ther was nothing she and her fighter piolets could do, thses transports had already got past them. "Battelships, i can see more ships in the distance, taken them out (The toumbstones) , we are going back to where the trasnports landed."

She now focused her attention on the planet and the zoomed in towards the temple. She let out a gasp Inara was standing at the head of 50 faced by numberless Clones. "Fire at will on the enemy" sh transmitted to the other fighter piolets and the began

Bane cursed as he saw fighters attack the ranks not engaged. Explosions sent clones into the hole, pounding holes in his ranks. He snarled and shook his head.
"Send everyone in, if they want to shoot them they'll risk killing their own."
At that every single clone charged in, giving each jedi at least five clones each. Bane himself charged forward, leaping over the fray with ease, smashing through a temple window. He found some civilians inside, cowering. With a flash he had lit one end of his light saber and killed them with great ease. He pushed into the temple building.

Outside the two clones attacking Inara both charged forward, one lept in the air the other running striaght at her, saber pointed forward. Both screamed a battle cry as they ran. All around the other clones seemed to be too much for other jedi, some barely fighting them off.

Inara looked up at the ship and nodded gratefully. She suddenly sensed many deaths, through her connection to the force. She turned and headed off towards the temple, leaping over several Bane clones on the way there. The door had been blasted open. She stepped over some rubble and cautiously headed towards the Council Chamber. She saw many bodies strewn across the hallways and corridors as she walked. Containing her emotions, she had to stay focussed there would be time to grieve later.
Walking forward Banes presence sent her into an automatic defense demeanour.

Bane opened a door onto a hallway and turned to see Inara, prepared to attack. He grinned and closed the door, the hall was wide enough for both beams to be turned on but he kept one on.
"Ah Inara. I see you escaped the masacar, good for you. You shall live to see the destruction of your pathetic Jedi council, which I ashamed to say I was a part of..."
He touched a wall with a black gloved hand, smiling.
"Still remeber these walls."
He turned back to Inara but soon they shall be torn down."

Inara stood with her sabre pointing at him "You were part of the Council? Why leave the Order? Why turn on your own Bane?" she walked forward a little, still pointing her sabre at him "You could have been a most decorated Jedi. It seems my destiny is leading me here, for this. I will not let you destroy this place."

He smiled.
"Yes I was once a Jedi. But a part of me felt uncomfortable here. The part of me that has manifisted itself before you and made me more powerful then you can imagine."
He held his saber in two hands, still grinning.
"If destiny brings you here, then you are meant to die."

"Sooner or later death comes to us all Bane. It is how you face it and not when. I will die on my feet, protecting this place. But I will take you with me. I assure you" Inara replied, more focussed than ever before "You could have been a tremendous ally to us Bane. Today has been a tragedy on all counts" she finished, never taking her eyes off him as she walked slowly towards him.

Bane nodded and his smile fadded as he stepped back taking a fighting stance.
"Today has been a great success. If I die my aprentice shall rise and be a thorn in your side."
He stepped forward toward, then broke out into a charge swinging the saber at her head.

Bane came charging toward Inara, his sabre aimed at her. She raised her sabre to meet his. The electricity charged the air as they connected. "You can end this Bane. Just take your men and leave here"

The two sabers stayed connected and the sith and jedi closed together.
"Now why would I do that Jedi scum?!"
He quickly pulled away and spun around with such speed, bringing the saber around on her other flank.
