Melda now had a great deal more respect for anyone who could wield a weapon. She had narrowly avoided being spitted on a long orc blade several times and was still fighting back sheer terror. She looked around and tried to make her way to the other, who might afford some protection.

Caunion rode to a girl who looked like it was her first time fighting. He urged his horse, who immediately rode forward towards her. A mob of goblins were threatening to overwhelm her and was about to if Caunion had not rode into the middle of the group, cutting his way towards their leader.

I was cured all right.

"Watch out!" FaZ cried shrinking from three warg riders attacking him. He ran up to Elegost and Elessar and shouted,
" Better if we stick together. And don't be so daring, Ellie! If not Larael... She's luckily a great archer!"
FaZiovsky stoppped as he saw two goblins behind Elessar's back. He immediately ran at them and knocked them down.
"More attention, mate." he said with a smirk.

Melda sprang back as Caunion's horse made a wide path through the horde of goblins surrounding her. She whirled and stabbed at a goblin just behind her, missing anything really vital but distracting him slightly.

Larael took a few more steps back and shot several arrows over the heads of her companions and knocking down several goblins. They were winning, they were actually going to get out of this alive.

Luthien ducked the swinging goblin blade and stabbed the creature deftly, eliciting a wild scream. She was finally getting the hang of this, wouldn't her brothers be jealous! There was a break in the onslaught for a moment, and Luth took the time to survey the battle situation. Seeing the men fighting together, she tried to remember where she had seen that Elessar guy before. Suddenly it hit her. Making her way over to him, she battled a goblin then shouted, "Will? How on earth did you get yourself here? I thought I recognized you from somewhere!"

"Watch out!" Elessar pushed Luth out of the way from a stray arrow. "How did I get here? What about you, Steph? I woke up in Minas Tirith and was sent to Rivendell for the council, but got off course, so I missed it." He hewed an orc while waiting for her answer.

Brego tryed to use her sword. She hit a goblin with the sword but that hard. I need a bow and arrow not a sword, she thought.

Why is it, Larael thought as she loosed an arrow, that battles seem to be so much shorter in movies? She turned around and swiftly skewered a goblin with two arrows. And a lot less gorier, she added, as the goblin fell into a heap at her feet.

"Don't call me that!" she hissed, side-stepping a falling body. "Here I am known as Luthien, alright? I got here by walking through my bedroom door into Lothlorien, like a few others." Luth was starting to feel exhausted, something she had hardly thought about when watching on the TV. Trying not to think what would happen when they all got too tired to fight anymore, she concentrated on keeping herself alive to see it.

When Ellethwen had seen the goblins coming, she had no idea what to do. Now, she was just running around, randomly shooting arrows and hoping for the best.

Darrell decided sleeping and trying to catch up the next day was not the best way to go about things. So he mounted his horse and countinued along the path.

After a short while he paased over a slight rise, and saw below him carnage. The group were beset by a group of orcs far greater in number. Now's a good time to take a crash course in horseback fighting he thought to himself, and with out further ado, urged his horse forward at the rear of the orc contingent, drawing his blade in the process...

Elenriel continued to fire her arrows at the enemies that surrounded them. Suddenly, she looked up and saw a lone rider approaching in the distance with sword drawn. She could not recognize him from where she stood, but something told her that he was indeed a friend. Thank heavens. she thought to herself. The aid will be most appreciated.

Gwen was reluctant to hide the horses, for they were always great advantages in battles. But she did as she was told, her mind chattering away as to why she would know what was best. Drawing out her bow and pulling an arrow from behind her, Gwen pretended to look like she knew what she was doing.
Why oh why was I given things I have no idea how to use? she thought.
For though Gwen had had a shot or two with a bow at camp before, she had hardly come close to hitting the target. When she could, she shot glances at those who looked like they were experienced, desperate for some advice.
When she finally caught sight of the goblins, she felt as if her blood had turned icy, her movements became wobbly. Without order, her legs took steps back, away from the danger, but when she bumped into Larael Gwen felt as though she were shaken awake, and was now in control of her body.

Caunion was fighting when he felt something cut his back. He winced slightly and saw a Warg Rider with his sword slightly bloodied with Caunion's blood. "You little......." Caunion cried and the two engaged in a sword fight. Soon, it ended with the rider's head missing. Caunion spat on his corpse before moving on.
