Kess glared at the three of them, and opened her mouth to make a sarcastic comment, but thought the better of it and began to sing Unfaithful in a her strange echoy voice as she did her daily routine of laying poppies by the fountain and looking out towards the horizon.

"Talking bores me, I'll show you..." Her palms glowed faintly and ASR found image flashing through her head.
[i] A woman, sitting on a fountain just like this one with a sweet blond child on her lap, making a wreath out of poppies. A man, reading a notice and turning around with a look of horror on his face. "Its started, they need us" he said simply and the woman looked up at him, tears starting to flow. "But you promised. Forever isn't long enough you dsaid! You're not leaving me!" he looked away, but was crying too. "I have to, I don't want to, but I must. And I'll be back, promise. It'll be a sunny day just like today, sitting on this fountain, and I'll come back, and it'll be like nothing ever happened. Kess? Please. Listen. But the woman had already left" The images stopped but kess said nothing and continued staring.
