"Only a few people," she said in a low voice. "And they're being fixed up. They'll be okay." She sighed shakily.

Brego pulled out her LOTR books and look over the map.She pulled out a pen and making an arrow she finger out a way to Rohn but unsure if her plan would work she put her books back and took out a fig newton and eat it.

The Quiet A-U Gentlewomen

Luthien watched the others in silence, her eyes swimming. At first she had felt fine, but now...Dropping her sword, she stumbled back a few steps. The smell of death was everywhere, and her head was pounding, pounding. Luth suddenly remembered that she had, in all the excitement, forgotten to take her medication for the last two days.

I've got to take it now! She thought anxiously, Or I am going to pass out.

It was too late, though, as the world around grew dark, and she slumped to the ground in a dead faint.

Larael continued to wait silently for FaZ to return with her bloody hand clasped over her forearm. She became more aware of her surroundings as she watched her companions. Her eyes followed Luthien, as she walked around the dead bodies. She really didn't look to well, and suddenly, without warning she stumbled and fell to the ground in a faint.

"Luthien!" Larael screamed and ignoring the throbbing pain in her arm, she ran to her fallen body on the ground.

"Help guys! Luthien has fainted!"

"Larael, your arm -- you should go and sit down again," said Gwen as calmly as she could, though it nonetheless made a kind of ringing that sounded so unlike her own voice. "I can't carry her alone...she's definitely out cold," she said, now kneeling down by Luthien. Gwen looked up for help.

Elenriel looked up at the cry and saw Luthien slumped on the ground. "Luthien!" she cried racing over to Gwen. "How might I be of some assistance?" she asked her.

Darrell nodded, glad to hear that there wa no lasting damage. He was snapped sharply out of his relief by Larael's scream. He dismounted swiftly, if rather clumsily, and strode over to where Luthien lay, knowing he was like to be as useful as a chocolate teapot, but willing to help in any way possible. Looking at Luthien concerned he turned to Gwen "Should I get some water?"

FaZ looked at Larael, and helped her to sit down again.
"Gwen, Darrell, Elenriel! do something with Luthien! Try to bring her back to senses!" He shouted bandaging Larael's arm.
"Don't worry, everything will be alright." He said, smiling friendly to his enduring patient. - "Luckily your blood is not infected. Okay, now, don't move for a while. I willl go, check what's up with Luth. Shout when you feel that something is wrong."

"Yes, thank you Darrell," said Gwen. With the help of Elenriel she was able to get Luthien against a tree, so that her head was propped up. Gwen didn't quite know what else to do, Luthien was making no movement, no sound whatsoever.
"Did anyone see her pass out? Does anyone know why?"
She began to think of movies, and why people suddenly dropped out cold. Maybe she was hit in the head by something..., Gwen thought. But there was no trace of blood or swollennes there. Was it shock, maybe? Can be people pass out of shock? She had no idea, so only waited patiently for Darrell to return with water.

Melda watched Luthien fall, too shocked to move, and before she knew it all the others seemed to have it under control and she really didn't know how to help at all. She went anxiously over to make sure Luthien was all right - well, okay, at least - and said timidly, "She's not wounded, is she?"

FaZ was back and he helped Larael sit back down to bandage her arm. He wrapped it up tightly and said something that Larael didn't hear. She watched her companions set Luthien up against a tree as Darrell ran off to get water.
Finally she turned to Faz,"Thanks FaZ, your a wonderful doctor," she said with a smile. The two got up and walked over to the group by Luthien.

Melda giggled. "I hope she's okay," she said, sitting down and looking at Luthien anxiously. "I can't think why she wouldn't have said something."

Luthien slowly began to wake up, everything was black and foggy, she couldn't think straight. Then she remembered. The battle! She was in M-E and everyone would be worried! Blinking lazily, she opened her eyes to see a group of faces looking at her with concern. Trying to sit up, she felt so shaky and weak, she slumped back against the tree again.

Focussing on Gwen, she said, "Where is my horse? They are in my saddle bag..." Luth felt horrible, it was a struggle to talk and just sit. But she had to tell them what to do, or she wouldn't get better anytime soon.

[s]Gwen sarcastically rolled her eyes at Ellie's comment. But then Luthien began to stir.
"Looks like she's coming around," Gwen said in a more excited tone. Then Luthien spoke, which lead the small group clustered around her to look around with confused expressions. "Your horse," said Gwen, trying to encourage her to keep talking. "Yes, yes, of course. Tell us what's in your bag."
When Luthien's eyes closed again, Gwen repeated her last statement as a question, louder this time so they wouldn't lose her.
"You don't think it's useless rambling, do you?" Gwen asked, looking up at the others. "Maybe she should just lie still."[/s]
[^Aww, and I had worked so long on that post, too ]


EDIT:

Gwen nodded at Elegost and ran back to find Luthien's horse, which was not too far off. She had no idea what to be looking for, so she grabbed the entire bag and brought it back.

Darrell grabbed an empty water bottle an filled it up cool water from the river. He returned quickly, but seeing Luthien was slightly recovered, and trying to say something he stood back slightly, giving her some space, and waited for Luth to get her message across.
