From far Miriel spotted grey clouds of smook, but they weren't close enough to see if the Orcs were still there. She urged Felarah to gallop until she rode next to Nenya and Elegost.
She could see they were experienced fighters, determined to wipe out the orcs and Miriel was grateful that tehy came to her aid.

Miriel looked around in disbelief. She seemed to be stuck in a nightmare: houses were burnt to the ground, some were still burning, on some places the ground was soaked with blood, bodies of people sheknew so well were scattered everywhere.
This couldn't be true.. Miriel dismounted in panic to look for her beloved brother, leaving the others behind.

Miriel only nodded. Tears ran over her face but she wildly wiped them off. She ran over to house where she'd lived, which was now collapsed. Everything was destroyed or burnt black.
She fell on her knees in sorrow, as she knew she would never be able to find her brother.

Saedd seemed upset from where he was standing on horseback he looked at Miriel. He squeezed his hand and made it a punch with rage. He only hoped that he could find the orcs who are responsible for this massacre. He gets near Miriel and Elegost. Get off his horse to comfort her. "I am so sorry about your brother. But we shall avenge the death of him and the people of your village. Until last of the orcs were gone from the Middle Earth".

"I shall" Miriel said, quietly swearing an oath: she would avenge her brother, even if they had to hunt them down to the heart of Mordor.
