Again...I'm adding to my list: Kevin Spacey. *sigh* Don't ask why...he's one of the few Americans I can tolerate.

I agree with that Montana! I first saw him Pay It Forward and loved him in that. I also saw him in Superman Returns and he was brilliant. His voice is unconventional but it does have a charm to it.

^^That is SO true! How you explained it, is so dead on, Kit! Unconventional, yet charming. It's a bit like Keifer Sutherland's, in that, it sounds like he knows something that we don't. Ha ha ha.

One of the few male American actor VOICES that I can tolerate.
I suppose, being American, you get sick and tired of your own accent. And most Americans, in my mind, don't have charming accents.

I quite agree with MontanaBohemian. There's rarely an American actor whose accent I adore.
Johnny Depp being one. I tend to mistake him for being European because of PotC.

Johnny Depp? Scottish? I don't believe so...I think he's from like Kentucky or something.
Though, it'd be cool if his POTC accent was his real one...ha ha ha. It's so awesome!

Favorite actors' voices, huh? Well, here's my list, in no particular order:
British/UK Actors
1. Jack Davenport (seems he's quite popular among us female fans in that respect )
2. Liam Neeson- I find his Irish accent absolutely beautiful! It's powerful, e.g. Aslan in Narnia, but it's also exceedingly gentle, if that makes any sense .
3. Sean Connery- Now, tell me, how did he get left out of the lists, hmmm... ? He must have one of the sexiest voices ever in the world of film !
4. Pierce Brosnan- He's not one of my favorite actors, but his voice is absolutely swoon-worthy !
5. Geoffrey Rush- Odd, I know, but if you see him in the movie "Quills", you'll understand why I say so .
6. Ewan McGregor, especially when he sings !
7. Definitely agree about Patrick Stewart.
8. Anthony Hopkins- I think part of the reason he was so appealing in "Silence of The Lambs", even though he was a serial killer, was that voice of his- "Hello, Clarice." Ooh, I'm getting chills just thinking about it!
9. Ralph Fiennes
American Actors
1. Al Pacino
2. Christopher Walken
3. Johnny
4. Viggo, both as Aragorn and his real accent
5. Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus in the Matrix Trilogy, for those who've seen him but don't know his name)
6. Andy Garcia
Alexis

Okaaay, for me, the top two are...
1. Adrien Brody
2. Johnny Depp
Goodness, they have awesome accents.

No, Johnny Depp doesn't have an accent; although his deep, rich voice could easily be mistaken for one.
Yeah, he was born in Kentucky, but raised in Florida- he really has an East-Coast way of pronouncing things, with just a hint of English.
