Have they? I was reading a book two nights ago (House of the Scorpion) I finished it, but it was so sad. It was late at night (about 12:30) and I just start crying. I was so sad. And then I couldn't get to sleep. Another book thatmade me cry was "Where the Red Fern Grows." I didn't like the book that much, but it was so sad. Also, the fourth book in "The circle opens" Series, by Tamora Pierce. There were a few sad parts in there.
How about you?

Just one. "Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix." I'm sure most of you can guess where...but...when Sirius, well...you know. I literally threw the book down and refused to read it for at least 4 hours. I was literally weeping uncontrollably. My mom thought I'd lost it....
I'm thinking there was another book....that at least nearly made me cry if not actually...but it's not coming to me right now.
EDIT: I've remembered! It was either the 2nd or 3rd book in the "His Dark Materials" trilogy. I'm leaning towards the 2nd one: "The Subtle Knife." Both were really sad, but the sadness in the third one was expected....

It looks like I'm the first guy to post in this thread, but yeah, books have made me cry (I read a lot so it's not like I just pick up any random book and cry over it...I'm not that emotional, lol).
Where the Red Fern Grows did the trick for me, but it was cut short by the fact that our copy of the book has the last few pages RIPPED OUT!!!!
The last sentence in our copy is this: "And in the light of a grey dawn, I cried until I could cry no more." <-- That being just after his dog dies. That was so upsetting. I still haven't been able to finish the book, either, because I haven't been able to get a new copy.
Another book that gets to me (if I read it from the beginning, instead of skipping around) is Star by Star, by Troy Denning. Yeah, it's a Star Wars book, but....for those who don't know, a very important main character dies in it (in a blaze of glory, to be true, but he still dies). I think I only cried over that book the first two times I read it.
There're a few more books that have hit something inside of me, but I can't think of any more by name right now.

Martin the Warrior by Brian Jacques made me cry at the end. I wanted it to turn out okay but it didn't. And I didn't actually cry in Order of the Phoenix, I wanted to for a second, and I read that bit with Sirius OVER and over to make sure he was really dead and then I threw the book across the room and went for a very angry walk. I wanted Harry to go live with him!

Hmm, I've cried during a good amount of books...erm, well there's Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince; Dumbledore's death was just so hard for me. Then there's this book called The Basket of Flowers which was really really sad. And I almost cried while reading The Chrysalids, but I didn't. And there was one particular Nancy Drew book that made me hysterical; Ned had actually broke up with Nancy and I bawled, oh geez.

Just like movies I cry at lots of books, do not laugh at me
I cried in A Great and Terrible Beauty, that was before reading Rebel Angels, I cried in Harry Potter OOTP and HBP; both were sooo devastating to read, I cried in Angels and Demons, just this one part that was really emotionally stirring, ummm... The Thieves of Heaven, just overall heartbreaking, where the red fern grows of course I cried, as well as Shilouh.... hmmm Number the Stars was sad, about the holocaust... can't think of the others now

I cry during books all the time. I'm a weepy person, so I bawl quite a bit.
Notables:
LotR
A Tale of Two Cities
Bleak House
Our Mutual Friend
The Lantern Bearers
The Hiding Place
Anne of Green Gables (Matthew)
There are more too.

One of the Little House books
There might be others, I can't remember them though.

I don't have any books that've made me cry yet, but Order of the Phoenix by Rowling came pretty close. I believe the reason was because I read it when I was still a naive little kid and that was the first book I read where a prominent character dies.
Scarecrow by Matthew Reilly came the closest after that, but not nearly as close. After reading Order all those years ago, I was thinking about what happened for a month.

I think I cry at quite a lot of books especially if i've really got into them. I'm not qite as bad as I am with films but that's not saying much
I think I've cried at just about all the Harry Potter books. Though they get even more emotional as they go on (especially book 6) there are lines in all of them that get me every time.
I also agree with Firiel about Anne of Green Gables.
A few others that I can think of at the moment are:
Little Women - I can't believe no one's mentioned that yet.
His Dark Materials trilogy - I can't remember what book it is but a certain character's death got to me a lot more that the ending of Amber Spyglass
The Wishlist
The Sally Lockhart Trilogy -The letter from her ather at the end of the first one was so upsetting, and as for the death in the 2nd..

I cried when Sam thought Frodo was dead in Shelob's Lair in the Two Towers. I refused to go any further. Then my brother comes along and said, "Oh, did you know that Frodo got captured by Orcs?" Then I continued on.
