That's awesome. Good luck with that then!
You know something that bothers me? The trailers they keep playing for Happy Feet on TV don't have Elijah's voice in them. I mean, he's the main character. And the only voice we really hear is Robin Williams's. He's funny and all, but I wish they had more Lij in there.

I didn't even know it was his voice until I read this thread. They don't really advertise it.

I know. Not fair. We haven't gotten to see much of Elijah onscreen for ages, so it kind of stinks that we get cheated out of hearing his voice in the trailers. The one I posted is the only one I could find where we hear his voice, and even that was minimal. *sigh*

Foaming at the mouth Well, you don't have much longer to wait, at least comparatively speaking. Only just over a month or so.
Ok. I guess it does kind of seem like a long time.
My birthday is actually not too long after Happy Feet comes out. Maybe I can get some friends to come and see it with me. Although we'll probably all look very silly walking in to a PG rated movie. But I don't care. It'll be fun!

Ah who cares how silly you look! what matters is that you end up loving the movie! I'll probably be going for my younger sister's birthday (which is when the movie comes out). She's lucky, I just had my birthday on the 29th. But I'll just grab a friend and drag her along with me so I'm not stuck with my sister and all of her friends.

Who cares its PG? I'm gonna go with all of my twenty-some-year-old friends. I'll be the youngest.

Yeah I don't care. Most of my friends are in touch with their inner child. Seeing as we pretty much think of ourselves as still kids. When my one friend was in Beauty and the Beast (the musical) we all went to see her and afterwards we all went back to my house and wacthed the Disnet movie of it. It was fun.
We actually mentioned Happy Feet in one of my classes today. Literature I think it was. Somone said "Happy Feet" only they didn't say "Happy" they said something else and I corrected them and my teacher kind of scoffed at it, and I said something like about how it was about diversity and everyone kind of looked at me funny. Then I started describing the plot and they all kept looking at me funny. Then I realized what I was doing and shut up. It was kind of fun though.
Younger siblings are good excuses Itarilde. Maybe I'll drag my little borthers along. They'll like it.

Hmm....it looks interesting/funny. I'll probably end up going with my mom and sisters...they like those sorts of movies even better than I do.

Yeah, so does my mom. She's kind of like a kid in that sense.

Oh, my goodness! (Scream as loud as I can) Lij, Hugh, and Hugo!? Lij and Hugh... I don't care that I'm way too old for this movie I have to see it...I have to! Well, I probabley won't get to see it until it comes out to dvd but still...I just have to see it. Besides I'm sure I'll get the chance to watch it at some point because of my younger siblings.
As far as the age thing goes, though I am a bit too old for it I look no where near my real age so if I take off the make up and put my hair in pig tails I'll fit right in. My mom has been told that she only looks like she's 14 so she might could fit right in as well. lol
The first time I saw the trailer it was the one where one of the birds sings My Way in Spanish. I thought it looked very weird and stupid...but I've changed my mind.
I can't wait to see this movie. (Squel) Okay I just looked it Happy feet on the internet. Lij is going to play Mumble, Hugh Jackman is going to play Memphis, Nicole Kidman is going to play Norma Jean, Brittany Murphy is going to play Gloria, Robin Williams is going to play Romone/Lovelave, and Hugo Weaving is going to play Noah the Elder. Hugh Jackman are supposed to sing "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Kiss" Brittany Murphy is going to sign "Boogie Wonderland" and "Somebody to love" and Robin Williams is also going to sing...at least on the sound track. Also on the sound track will be Pink, Prince, and Patty Labelle.
I wonder if Lij is going to sing... anybody know?

Thanks for all the info Drew's Destiny! It was really interesting! But..... just to remind you, double posts are not allowed. I'm not trying to be the double post police, but we all need reminded every now and then so we don't get in trouble with the mods.
I'd love to hear Lij sing too. He's supposed to be quite good actually, and I know he's taken professional lessons. I hope he sings in the movie! It'll be interesting to hear Hug Jackman sing as well. Nicole Kidman has a wonderful voice, at least, fomr what I've heard on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack. (Ewan McGregor sounded amazing on that too, but that's sort of off topic. )

Yes, according to what I know, Elijah has always had music being a huge part of his life (why do you think he has over 1000 CD's!) and everyone has told me he's really good. I can't wait to hear him sing in the movie!

Tinuviel's Tears, Thanks for reminding me. I forgot. (Hits herself in the head) Sorry. However I can't get it to come up with the delete button but I can get it to edit... It's probabley something stupid that my computer's doing or something. Sorry. However when and if I can get the delete button to show up I'll delete that post off.
Cool, I bet Lij is good. Oh, I realy hope that they let him sing.
I've read on the internet before that Hugh Jackman is a very good singer. So I expect Hugh to do very well with his songs. Plus how could somebody with such a beutiful speaking voice not have a beutiful singing voice?
I didn't know that Nicole sang on that sound track. Hmm, that's interresting. I'm sure she'll do great too.
Itarilde, Good point. He probabley sings along with those 1,000+ cds. (laugh)

My computer does the sme thign Drew's Destiny, and we all forget sometimes. Don't worry about it.
That's kind of a fun thought, Lij singing along to those thousands of CDs. I do really hope he sings. I think he kind of sings in this weird, not serious penguin croak at one point, but I'd like to hear him actually try to sing. Like Drew's destiny said about Hugh Jackman, how could somebody with such a beautiful speaking voice not have a beautiful singing voice? (although, I know from experience that that's not always true)
