Her father then left them in the care of an old Dunedain Ranger as he left and went to the Valnior. Turwaithiel has been raised as an Knight Archer of the Forest and Protecter of the Leaf. She is repected highly for becoming whom she is now. Her brother is in Rohan now helping the king.

History: The eldest of the children of Thranduil and Aerwen, Aradan was born in the year 3,430 of the Second Age, the year that the Last Alliance of Men and Elves was formed. As the Crown Prince* of Mirkwood, Aradan has always had a lot of responsibility placed on his shoulders, and even though he balks at it all occasionally, he always fulfills his duties without any complaint whatsoever. Apart from this, Aradan also takes it on himself to patrol the forest every so often, checking up on the borders as well as the border guards. (He has a great rapport with all of them, since he has often trained as one of them since he was very young.)

History: Born just a few minutes after her twin brother Aradan, Aranel is the second-oldest child and oldest daughter of Thranduil and Aerwen. Trained as a healer from a very young age, Aranel quickly became one of the top healers in Mirkwood, due to her compassionate nature, caring for others, and general knowledge of cures for various injuries. Like her brother, however, she sometimes abandons this duty to go out patrolling in the forest.

Appearance: She is tall and slender, with auburn hair and brilliantly clear green eyes.
Attire: Depends..most often 'ranger' attire.
Weapons: A Mirkwoodian longsword with ocean waves engraved onto the hilt, and a Mirkwood longbow.

History: Born the youngest of Thranduil and Aerwen's children, Elwen is far from a proper young elleth. Her mother died just after she was born, so, apart from her older sister's influence, she grew up without a mother figure. Preferring to be out in the forest, like her brother Aradan, she seems more like a ranger than a princess to those who don't know her personally. Despite this oddity, she still acts the part of royalty well, knowing when to act tactfully, or when to just be 'herself'.
