My mum says I look like Princess Beatrice, and WML reckons I look really badly like Ana Lucia from Lost. I can't say I'd agree, but they're both very pretty so I take it as a compliment
^You're very lucky then, Eligah's eyes are beautiful!

Hmmm...I have been told by my friend that I look like Orlando Bloom. My friends older sister think that some of my features resemble his, but I don't look Exactly like him or anything. Just slightly...

One of my friends looks so much like Orlando Bloom. The only thing that's wrong...is that he's a little too short.

One of my friends has a nose like Johnny Depps, and my friends dad looks like Chris Lee, and another one of my friends dads looks like Boromir combined with Mario from Super Mario bros.

An English colleague of mine (in Germany) claimed, over 30 years ago, that I reminded him of Richard Chamberlain in his starring role in the 1980 TV miniseries “Shogun” (which may have only been shown on German TV the odd year later, memory fails here). This was mainly due to similarity in amount and length of hair, and the presence of a beard, a rarity in Chamberlain’s roles that I remember – while a beard has been the rule rather than the exception for me during my adult life. Any fleeting resemblances from the 1980s have by now totally dissipated for a variety of reasons, not the least of which by now is the fact that he is 22 years older than I am.

Pushing the “looks-like-you-or-someone-you-know” envelope, back in the last quarter of 1987 when I was in West Berlin, there was an Irish Pub with some really god live music that I frequented the odd time (I was also, and still am, also a bit partial to Guinness (Extra … oh well) Stout). One evening, going by beard, receding hairline, stocky, slightly bulging build, and most startlingly voice, Joe Cocker appeared there. Really a dead ringer. Except that I heard him talking to some people during an intermission, in a distinctly Berlin dialect version of German which I know the original was incapable of. It was really spooky. But the performance, with songs from Cocker’s mid-eighties recordings (and perhaps also earlier ones, and stuff that one could believe he performed at some time in his life), was definitely awesome.
