^^Nope, it's definitely a sport. Why would you say it's not?
^Aww .. hmm well maybe it just needs to be started right? And you could always do that! Like, it might not turn into something super huge with like tournaments and everything but you could always ask the office/athletic department or something and request permission to open an Archery club if enough people show interest?

I would defininately say that it's a sport!! After all, it's in the Olymipics. (Then and again, so is ballroom dancing. ) But it is most definately a sport.
I suppose I could try that, Haldir. The only problem is that I go to a pretty small highschool and no one really does archery... but it is worth a try.

I wanted Haldir's bow or the Galadhrim bow that they had at Helms' Deep ... but they don't sell any of them.. How much are you willing to spend on Legolas's bow, hobo?

Well I think they don't sell them because bows arn't that easy to make. Plus they would have to be shootable and all that stuff so yeah... I heard of someone who searched all around the world to find someone who would be able to make them a fireable Legolas Mirkwood bow...she finally found 1 person who could do it. So to get a Elven bow it would probably have to be custom made. Because it has to be the right, poundage, length...

Well there ARE a lot of very similar replicas... not exactly the same but alike. And apparently shootable.
