How about since the portfolio idea doesn't sound so grand, we make observations of women. Since we are all from differenet countries we can observe and compare how women in different places around the globe interact. For example, I live in the Northwest and it's really popular if women are extremely outdoors orientated, hiking, biking, climbing, camping etc. So how about everyone else?

'ello ladies! *points to Sida and Kit's posts*
We're trying to come up with a real topic for this thread. Sida came up with a pretty good idea, and I liked the portfolio idea too.
I'm really not sure how the women in my community interact. There isn't a set stereotype here if you know what I mean. However, if I lived in the city I'm sure I'd be able to come up with something.
Speaking of our favourite women in history- I have always been fascinated with England's queens, mostly Elizabeth I, but even some of the others. Joan of Arc has been another favourite of mine too.

Most girls in school around here are tomboys or girls who think they're hot chicks. It's either one or the other. But, hey, it's upstate New York. Things are crazy. As for adult women.... well I don't really pay much attention to them...

^ Yes, I agree. Actually I am interested in all the monarchs of England, but Lizzie and Vicky are two of my personal favourites.
Women in my community are....bleurgh...it's not a particularly mixed community but there are quite a lot of older people and young(ish) ones as well.
The town I live in has been around for hundreds and hundreds of years and has lot's of history to it. We have a Priory which is the only one of it's kind in Europe, and we have churches dating back to the 1400's. It has gone through many changes in it's time and the women have changed too. The biggest change came in the 1960's when they demolished blocks of flats in Liverpool, and my town and others close by, became home to hundreds and hundreds of Scousers. And this is were the community clashed. The people of the time, who were really only used to a "village" community and life then had all these "townies" to put up with. And sadly the result of this was not good. My town, is a relic of it's former villagey self, and the people who live in it generally are not the best in the world. There are more pubs and clubs then there books in a library (well not quite) and I always feel sorry for the elderly people who remember it as it was. The women in particular disgust me, the way they dress, look, talk. It's not where I want to be nor how I want to end up.

I hate around 99% girls I know IRL. Stupid, immature, fancy, high, cool, self-centered, ignorant lazy hawt cheecks giggling everytime a latinolover passes by or teh cewlest guy looks at them. what the flower? I really can't stand them. Buut... everytime; -every- time we have a test I'm the one who knows it all, is teh cewlest, they would kiss me for me helping them. Yeah, and the pope is a woman. Stupid and selfish.
Lol, I sound totally weird, don't I?

Hello all!
I'm on two forums, a chatroom, and the phone all at once.
I don't get along with most girls either... I just don't fit in with them.

Hey ladie. If your post does not contain anything relative to being a woman or anything related to the discussion at hand, please don't post. It's called being off-topic.
I've never had a real idol in women of the past. I hear a lot about Marie Antoinette, Joan of Arc and the Elizabeths but I never really knew how they could've been a name in history, of course I haven't learned much about them. I wanted to go see Marie Antoinette [the movie] however I found that a lot of people were saying it was dreadfully boring and mostly untrue.
