I like some cute things... but as a general rule, I am not very girly. Give me a cloak and a sword, you can keep your makeup and high-heels! :-P

But all my friends (pretty much all of whom are online) are girls. Boys tend to be kind of stupid. :-P

Anyway... I think I'm off-topic-ing.

Im not girly one bit. :p I had to get my hair trimmed today, my Mom forced me to. She said my hair was too long, and she's like "Oh why dont you get a layered-haircut?" and I said "Nope. Just like my hair they way it is." SHE WONT LET ME KEEP MY HAIR LONG! And I love my hair long. Luckily I only got a inch cut off.

@ Eä: You're not late at all. :) I had just meantioned Joan of Arc previously. She really was an inspiring and brave person who died for her beliefs.

Hmm.. I guess I can be girly if I want to be. I wear make up every once in a while, and I do like to do my hair sometimes, but... I'm not all into fashion and designer wear. I love school [sadly many of the girls I know do not], and I take my academic career very seriously. I never follow trends or fads either. They're always over soon enough.

I'm not girly at all. I'd much rather be reading a book than talking about what those girly people tend to talk about and everything. :P And I agree with what you said, TN- I like my hair really long and simple. :)

I'm sort of girly, I like going shopping and getting new clothes and I follow trends (to a point - I WILL NOT wear tight skinny jeans, I refuse), but I've always thought makeup was just another annoying thing to do in the morning and I don't think I've ever owned a pair of high heels. I would like to get my hair cut a bit more attractively, too...it's too thick and whenever I wear it down it's bushy. I like having curly hair, but only to a point.

I'm not girly at all. I have a tendency to burp out loud, it doesn't help that my friends think it's funny. I'm not a big fan of girly clothing, I hardly ever wear a skirt or a dress. If I wear make-up it's because it's a special event. I usually could care less how I look or what people think of me. Life's been so much simpler since I started not to care about societies trends. I will admit that I do have a pair of black skinny jeans but that's not because they're popular just because I like them.

I hate skirts and dresses. I only have to wear them Sunday morning.

I really like skirts and dresses...in fact, my Gentlewoman name is from my favorite black twirly skirt. I love it so much!

I'm not very girly at all... but I love skirts.

I consider myself feminine which is WAY different than girly!

Girly is pink and fashionable... obsessed with boys. Likes modern music, likes hanging out with friends, likes clothes, likes relationships, likes makeup.

A feminine girl is someone who truly appreciates and delights in her womanhood. She likes being different than boys. You'll usually find her easy to blush, just a tad classy, fond of pretty things. She wants to have the door opened for her, she likes it when a fellow takes her arm. But she doesn't flirt, or act immaturely giggly. She is usually serious... and often misunderstood.

So right, I like to keep feminine and distinctively girl-dressing... but at the same time I delight in sword-fighting and horseback riding. I even go horseback riding in skirts sometimes... it's really easy.

I model myself after Jane Austens heroic and yet soooo feminine characters.

I would rather grow up to be a Arwen than an Eowyn.

I suppose I'm just a tomboy, then. I can't stand make-up, fancy clothes, all that, and I hate dresses and skirts.

Oh, and one thing I might add to that... feminine girls are NOT helpless! In times of trouble they are full of strength... sometimes even more so than the men. They aren't your normal girly basketcase... they are amazing and full of hope and inspiration.

I like that FM. I guess you could say I'm a femenine girl too. I can connect with many of those traits, and definitely find a lot of them in myself. I guess you could say I like the finer side of life. Basically, boys, make up, clothes, and music are not my every waking thoughts.

Ah yes, Jane Austen, she will forever be my hero. :)
