I saw my bulimic friend yesterday, she's in hospital again (heart problems ) It makes me more than angry to see what the world is trying to make out of us girls - barbie dolls or what?!?!

I'm sorry for your friend, Antigone.
I hate the present trend that girls have to look like barbie dolls as well. It's sad when girls hardly have enough weight and still consider themselves as fat. That's why I don't like these over thin models and other celebrities. I mean real beauty comes from within. It doesn't have something to do with weight and size, but with the character and inner values.
I'm glad that there are also a couple of actresses that refuse to hunger for Hollywood and keep their weight. I think Liv Tyler is one the best examples for that. She's really very very beautiful but not as thin as a rake...

I know!! man its kinda sad to see all those actresses who are uberly duber skinny! but then again i'm 5' 6 113 lbs and want to be skinnier- i went anorexic last year for a while.. I'm sorry about your friend- it sucks to be in the hospital for anything *huggles*

I'm anything but thin but I'd rather DIE that lose weight (though she didn't stop eating purposely but I won't go into details. too sad, too personal)

I guess I am quite thin for my age. I dont eat alot, I mena, I dont do it on purpose..I just dont like eating that much. Sometmes Ill go through the whole day be eating like..crackers er something like that.

I do that too sometimes... but most of the time i eat way too much but never gain any weight ...its weird

yeah... sometimes i get mad at myself cuz i want to be thinner but i'm so frail as is... idk i'm a weird inidvidual- i think if i'm 115 i'm fat- and i'm trying to be 110 cuz i have a cousin who's 110 just out of stress and she's 5'8" so thats really not good ...she's one of my best friends as well
