Ah..lol. I dont really like badguys. But totally not the huge big hero who comes and saves the day. I totally love Murtagh's personality though.

Durza's cool..I guess. I like Shades. :vampire: And the Ra'zac seem kool also.

Hello ladies! :)

I read Eragon about a year ago. I hate Eragon (the character) but love Murtagh. He saved the book for me.

I have not read that book. Is it good story-wise?

Eragon has some great characters (Durza, Murtagh, Orik :D) the narrative is really good and your get an awesome feel of Paolini's world, but it's far from original and I knew what was happening mostly before I read it. Loads of Star Wars and LOTR influence, I thought. Still a great book, though.

Yeah, too bad though. I would have shown some interest in it if I heard the story was original. Oh well. I might see the movie anyway.

It'd be a better book if there were a few more twists. The movie's a definite must-see for...reasons...*coughmurtaghcough*

:D Heheh...there are, of course, other reasons. The plot, the acting, the score, DURZA, locations, costume, DURZA, to make fun of Arya...I can't wait to see it :P

Edit- Bumpage! Curse you, slow typing! I found it hilarious towards the end how many times Eragon is unconscious at the end of chapters.

Yeah..I wondered if anyone else noticed that but me.

and is Durza the guy with the red hair in the movie? if so...*shudders* he's creepy...:teehee:

Arya's much better unconcious. Trust me. I didn't mind her until she woke up. *feels like kicking Arya*

Arya was one of my two biggest problems with the book... the other was the fact that it wasn't the best written thing in the world. I'm on a writing forum, and I have friends there who can write better.

Yes, he's the red-haired guy. And he's creeepy.

I totally agree with you guys - Murtagh is the best! THough, sadly, the books are predictable, I do like them anyway.
