Grr.... *mean stares* I'm very jealous Itarilde. :P It's great that you got to see it, and I'm glad you give it good reviews. And yes, I doubt that the bright blue eye thing was coincidental. I think it was because of Lij, but I think it could also be to show how that penguin was different from all the others. That's the message of the film, right? Diversity and not being afraid to be yourself? It's a good message. More people should listen to it.

We're not going to "beat you up." You're perfectly entitled to your opinion. It's probably not the best idea though to just come in and say it's stupid when we've all been talking about how much we want to see it. WHY do you think it's stupid if I may ask?

And I want to see this SO bad!

I *might* get to see it on Friday... oh please oh please oh please... if things work out right.

(Warning spoilers inclueded in this post)
Okay, I just got back from watching happy Feet and over all I Loved it. Though I didn't like the fact that we (humans) were the bad guys. Why do we always have to be the villians? Oh, well other than that it was pretty well perfect. Great special visual and sound effects and the voice overs were...Amazing! Wow, Hugh, Brittney, Robin, and Nicole are all wonderful singers.
What was your top favorite parts in the movie? I liked it when Norma Jean and Memphis sang their heart song, when Memphis danced and sang near the end with Norma Jean and Mumble, and the scene where Mumble is in the zoo and thinking about his family. Though I liked every scene. Oh, it was such a sad movie but still a great movie.
I give it a 10 out of 10. (claps)

That was an obnoxiously funny movie..and Elrond as a scottish penguin? I thought I was going to die of laughter. Very cute. See it if you can.

That's the penguin he was! Thank you! I knew he was in the movie, but I was having the hardest time picking him out but now you've cleared that up for me. Thanks again.

And now I'll already know because I think I'm going to see it today!!! Hooray! If everything goes according to plan, I'll have seen it by tonight.
I'll have to try to trace some voice similarities between Elrond and the Scottish penguin. I can;t really see it somehow.

EDIT: I saw it! It was so adorable! I liked it a lot. I thought it went very fast though. It seemed like there was one thing after another. It was great to hear Lij's voice coming out of a penguin. Hugo Weaving didn't sound at all like himself with a Scottish accent. I never would have guessed that that was him. But I really liked it. I'd definitely recommend it. Although, I think it may be a little difficult for some of the younger kids to understand. My four year old brother had trouble sitting through it. Great movie though. Penguins rule! <3

I watched it on Thanksgiving! I'd been waiting for 2 YEARS, 10 Months, and a couple weeks for this movie! The ending was kinda weird but I kept picturing Elijah talking while Mumble was. Even when Mumble lip-syncs I imagined 'Lij lip-syncing!

^ That is quite a long time to have been waiting for this movie. :P I admit I wasn't that die hard. I only heard about it this year, and I mainly went to see it because Elijah provided a voice. I ended up really liking it though and I think it's a completely adorable movie. I'm glad you liked it too Princess of Ithilien.
