Hmmm. I have one of each! A co-worker and a fellow student. The guy is 5 years older than me, so I really don't know where he puts me. You know how it is

I've got a couple of guy friends, almost moreso than girl friends. We all hang out together though. Quite a lovely bunch we make.

I get along better with guys than I do with girls...because guys like to talk about video games and swords and all that jazz while the girls like to talk about make-up.

Hmm. I never had that experience. I live an isolated lifestyle. Never got out much. Hence the mere two friends that I have.

Most my friends are from church, school, and here on A-U! Though not close-close friends, but people I can talk to when I want to talk about a movie or something!

Yeah, well. My 'rents are shy in public and they never grew out of it, so we never talk to people at church, and all of us kids are DEATHLY shy. If you could see me posting, I would only have like, 10 posts.

Here's a topic:
Stereotpying girls to shopping.
Do you like shopping?
Do you enjoy shopping for a certain type of thing?
Why or Why not?

I like shopping for video games and movies. Online . I dislike clothes shopping very much because I can never find anything that suits me. Always frilly and pink and dumb texts like: "If there were no boys, I would quit school." So I shop online for my clothes too to find exactly what I want

BLAK! Shopping in Texas is just as bad for the guys! Most of the time if I try to get into Aeropotal or AEO I can't because all the guys are crowding the store so much ( and never go to a store on Saturdays for button down shirts * sudder*)
Now shopping in Texas is just as bad as tring to dress for the day in Central. In one area the mall is super ACed in another the area is super hot and then it just goes back and forth. unless your in Dallas!
I love to go shoe shopping in Dallas!

^*is laughing out loud*
I am also a Texan, but I really haven't had that kind of experience at all! Why?
I
HATE
Shopping.
I'm not sure exactly why it is, except that I don't like public places in general most of the time. But I can't stand it. I have very little interest in clothes or shoes (partly because I never find either thing in my size). I don't give a flip about being in style or anything, and actually have a strong aversion to what is in style, so in clothing stores I feel like I'm suffocating and the only way I deal with it is to keep a death-grip on the One Ring I always wear.
Movie and CD shopping... I love what I'm getting, but hate the process. There are so many nasty movies and CDs, and I hate seeing all the nasty covers.
The only kind of shopping I liked at all is shopping for presents. This I adore. I love trying to find things for my friends and family that they'll enjoy, spending tons of money on them. That's the only shopping I enjoy. I can't wait to get into Christmas shopping! *squeals*

What about the guys or the AC and heating?
If it was the guys its probaly beacause guys in my area have to look their best before thay get on their horses or their bulls on Sunday.
And if its the AC its becasue of the Central Texas area being the Central meating point for weidness and cold and warm frounts

I don't like clothes shopping. I hate the fashions nowdays, so I can't really find anything I want to wear anyway. Hence no clothes shopping.
I love to shop for books though! I like to browse. And just stand in the doorway and inhale the smell of books. Especially if I've been shopping for a while (mainly because I was drug around a mall/many stores) I just love to step into a bookstore.
I like movie and music shopping, but I'd much rather buy the thing and then get home to watch/listen to it. Book shopping though...
Man, now I want to go to Barnes & Noble!

It really depends on my mood. Most of the time I'm NOT in a shopping mood. My family says I have no taste in clothes. The cringe every time they bring me shopping.
Well... who cares if I like exotic skirts, bell bottoms, and shoes that have curly points in the end, and bells?
I agree with Altariel Frodo mostly. I don't give two hoots about fashion... really I don't. And the way they make clothes these days! *gasp* Golly, someone couldn't PAY me to wear jeans that tight and low-rise! It's disgusting.
And I always feel so incomfortable, like everyone is staring at me... tell me, why doesn't anyone smile nowadays!? Like, they all look downcast and depressed. I at least wear a happy expression, no matter how hideous me clothes.
However! Drop me off in Barnes and Noble, or BooksAMillion, and I could stay there all day. I'm a book addict. And coffee. Whee!

Yes! I'd take a book store over a clothes store any day! Its so hard to find slothes these days. Its as if the designers think its fashionable to show every thing. I just take what ever I can find that is appropriate. But boook stores. I love them.
