lol Yeah, it really seems so! Well, I'm not totally down right now, but have been better. All those 'What could I buy him' and 'What could I give her' and 'Will give me something? If she does I have to think of something for her as well', that's really going on my nerves, even now that Christmas is over again!

I agree. Everyone calls me Scrooge here, cause they all carry on about Christmas from August to January, and I really think that's taking it too far. I don't like Christmas carols either, because I've done the Nutcracker for the last seven years of my life, and you just get tired of listening to Christmas songs half the year.

I'm slightly annoyed by all the fuss over gifts... I am so thankful for mine, and can't understand when someone's like "I wish I had gotten this," or "I don't care much for this present" etc. For me, the presents are on the side. I am more grateful than I can say for what gifts I get, of course, because I know that my friends and family put thought into getting them for me. But they're not really important. As a Christian, what's important is remembering the greatest Gift of all. I wouldn't care if I didn't get any gifts. I may have gotten less than most people I know, because my family doesn't have much money, but it doesn't matter, because I've accepted the greatest Gift and that's all that matters to me.

It's at Christmas and Easter when I truly realize how blessed I am... if I wasn't a Christian, I wouldn't like them much. They'd be too empty. But for me they have so much meaning. I can strip away all the worldy things the media has attached, and the beautiful meaning underneath is there, and it touches my heart and lifts me up.

*expected a mod to come say that*
So... what did you all have for Christmas dinner? I know that some people have interesting traditions.

Anyways... back to the topic. We don't really have traditions for Christmas dinner... but we always have roast beef and yorkshire pudding

Ha, Christmas dinner. We just had/are having ours. As we spent the entire day doing things together, our dinner is a bit spread out. We had steak, cheesey hashbrowns (so goood!), salad, and mozzarella sticks. I'm on the computer, the rest of my family is watching football. Not very traditional.

Nothing too special for Christmas dinner. Very good though- and lots of it.
