Are there any other fans of the old Celtic group The Chieftains? (ok well I already know there's a few fans on here) I especially love their music on Treasure Island. They're going to be in Denver on my birthday! I want to go so bad, but the tickets are expensive :(

OOH! Yay! Chieftains! I've been listening to the Chieftains ever since I can remember! My parents are big Chieftains fans, so I grew up with them! My favorite cd by them is "The Long Black Veil", it's so much fun! Oo! I have to admit, I only listen to their Christmas album around Christmas (sometimes I'll listen ot a little Bing Crosby, but mostly the chieftains). It's so cheery!
On New Year's eve, our Bagpipe Band is going to do a Chieftains set "O'Sullivan's march", it's going to be awesome! I was so excited to find out we were doing Chieftains music! Anyways, Chieftains. Good Band.

Oooh O'Sullivans March is a good one! Isn't that from the movie Rob Roy? (who I am apparently descended from, btw)

I haven't heard much of their music, just a few clips, but I liked what I heard! They're doing a concert close to where I live in a few weeks. I want to go, but like you said, tickets are expensive. lol
