I think guys are way more competetive than girls on a different level. On a challenge level. Guys will take anything and everything as a competetion...and I mean....anything. -_-

I think girls are maybe not as competetive but when they do get into a competition, they're just fiesty and furious. I think with girls, the result of whatever's going on will affect each of them more than how they did it. With guys it's not only who wins, its all the skills and coolness that they get everything done with.
As for the outcome thing, guys are much more "forgive and forget" then girls are.

if its what there good at I think the should be competitive to some degree, but then after a while it just gets a little narcissistic. But the girls I've been around have always been just as competitive as the guys

when girls get competitive, we're nasty little holy terrors, i've seen girls in my class run guys into the wall to get the soccer ball, one memorable event was where we all tackled this guy, and he got kicked more than once...*smiles, remembering happy memories*

We can get quite nasty sometimes. But the boys who play football in the horse arean at the fair grounds get really nasty. Someone was pushed in to the fence and broke though it. I must say, it was quite funny!

^Yes, but it's mainly true. Most girls I know will go on for ages about who really said this, and who really did that, while guys tend to just "whatever" it. The guy part...well, I don't know much about that because I and my group of friends aren't your typical girls, and aren't all that interested in the guys around us. Though that may be because our school has about 3 good guys in it, but that's beside the point.

As for your question Kit-

Guys are stereotypically more competetive when it comes to sports, yet I think girls can get just as competetive, if not a bit more that that. We can get pretty nasty when it comes to winning or getting things we want. Guys are just competetive because well, that's how they are. They've been taught to want to be on top and to win ever since the dawn of time. Most of the time they just want to show dominance too. That's another trait guys usually have too.

As Nurr said [and several others], girls can get nasty when it comes to boyfriends and the like. We're just overprotective of ourselves and of the guy involved. We don't want to be the ones to get hurt. Ironically, that always seems to happen when we get caught up in guy-related fights and such.

I think... that it's taken. But I'm not sure... It's a good suggestion though

i know that im very nasty when it comes to my friends boyfriends, if i hear some one talking bad about him, i get very angryish...

No girl that has ever existed, is in existence or ever will exist will ever come close to being as competitive in football as the guys in my class. Neither will any normal guy, come to think of it. I have seen a fifteen year old boy get sent off for hacking someone in the shins, then burst into tears when his team let in a goal.

Concerning boyfriends, me and my girl friends are generally mellloooow. But we are only fourteen, so we aren't exactly looking for marriage proposals
