Ow, Darky. That doesn't sound fun, but atleast you got an excuse.
Here's a question.
With the growing change of the relationship between men and women, do you think you would pop the question ("Will you marry me?") or do you still want the guy to?

Haha, I must not forget this one ...
@ question:
I suppose it'd always be me who asks important stuff. I'll always have these men that daren't say a single thing >< bad picks? Ah yes. Of course.
.. even though I can't imagine myself asking my bf "Will you marry me?" it's just, impossible for me.

I personally wouldn't want to marry anyway.. but if I was in a relationship I wouldn't mind asking. It'd be a bit weird, but it's the 21st century.. what's there to lose?

Men have to ask. At least for me. My A-U future-husband is different, but then so is A-U marriage.
I like guys to ask me to dance, ask me out, and in the future I want him to ask me to marry him.
^
I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Wowzers! That's neat, momma!

I can't imagine girls actually getting down one knee, if you're the girl and you're bold enough to ask that, you're standing proud and high, okay? There will be NO kneeling.

If I were hanging off the edge of a cliff by the hand of the guy who I wanted to marry(or vice versa), I might say something like, "If we ever get out of this, let's get married." But only if he were of a like mind. (I have some very dramatic fantasies)
But under normal circumstances, I would have him do the asking. Not that I really want to get married (or think anyone in their right mind would have me )

Aha, nice EJP. I would much rather have the guy to the asking. Though I as of now do not plan on getting married for at least a loooong while, I don't want to be the one proposing. But then, I'm a bit of a romantic and old-fashioned.

interesting convo lol. i'd rather have the guy ask too, but i think the guy needs to be creative and not do the same thing all the time that makes it look so obvious that they're going to ask. like getting on the one knee for example. seriously, it's the oldest and most overused one in the book plus i think they look ridiculous on their knee, it looks like they're begging lol. i swear if my bf gets on his knee i'm going to pull him up and tell him he looks ridiculous XD

^:welcome:
The guy always has to ask with me. I'll never be the one doing the asking with anything, especially marriage. That's probably partly because I'm shy, but also just because I think that's how it should be.
