Eowyn is my hero! Whenever I feel depressed or tired I have to think of how much worse Eowyn had it and I'm inspired to keep going. The one thing that kind of irks me about her, though, is, in the book, it's emphasized that she's very beautiful, which I think isn't that big a deal seeing as she has very limited control of that. I admire, however, how she is...strong. I think most people like Eowyn because of the girl-power-ness, the cross-dress just so I can stand up for what I believe...-ness. But I think one of the main reasons I like her so much is that her relationship with Faramir[sorry, guy character] is so beautiful.
So ends my long rant.

You guys went through a page full of on-topicness. I'm still in shock.
Okay. So we've discussed a lot of character we admire, Susan Pevensie, Elizabeth Swann , Elizabeth Bennett, Arwen, Eowyn and lots of other characters.
Do you find yourself also not like other characters by their faults? Who? Why? And what characters do you not like because you're just jealous of their guy-friends  .

I use to have a tendency to dislike Elizabeth Swann, but I'm over that now.

well, one person I don't like because of her boyfriend(s) is Evangeline Lilly/her role in LOST.
On TV she kisses 'Sawyer' and after shooting she can kiss Dominic Monaghan... but I don't know much about her so I can't say if there would be a 'real' reason to dislike her _________________ .::. PUSH : Pray until something happens : PUSH .::.

I don't have a book role model ... just some persons I can relate to
Lirael - The Old Kingdom Series (by Garth Nix); different, can't do what others of her kind/family can (ie; everyone I know rock at PE while I'm a sucker for it xDD), depressed 
Hermione - HP; yay brainiacs! Even though I can hide my intelligence well and I'm quite good at it haha
PS: Someone prohibite periods. Yuck, hurts as if I were torn apart.

Definately jealous of Evangeline Lilly(Lost) she gets to kiss both Jack and Sawyer..not fair  and also Keira Knightley in PotC...she gets to kiss Will _________________

She's not a book/movie character, but I'm <i>very</i> jealous of Miranda Otto 'cuz of the scenes with Eowyn and Faramir. =P
I dislike Elizabeth Swann because of Keira Knightley's [sp?] SMIRK. She does something with her mouth that *really* bothers me! Eh, well, she's punished by having to kiss Orlando Bloom, who I dislike. Because of Bloom, no one takes me seriously when I say I'm a TLotR fanatic. They just say, oh, because you like Legolas right?
