Kudos to every word there, too, Hal! ^_^ I love kudos...
I haven't got as serious a home situation as either of you, but I just lost my grandmother and she was really important to me. And for a few weeks, I wasn't sure what the point of life was. I thought that life was just an unbearable series of years that you wait for death during. My dad and mom and almost been divorced twice and fight physically. They even call my brother and I mistakes sometimes. My religion deffinitely helps keep me grounded, but it's also my friends. By remembering that I'm not the only one going through hard times, and that there are those that have surrvived depression and things like that, I have hope. And that's why I love life.
Hehe this is starting to sound like one of those groups...

That sucks, I never really knew my grandma. I've only met her twice in me entire life. It was hard to see her cause she lived in different a different part of the country and she died when I was only 11. My parents never did fight like that but my god, could my dad yell. It was scary.

*snicker* Well this is SORT of a group...
But yeah I know what you mean... little trivial things like relationship problems aren't things that get in the way of MY life. I put my friends and family WAY before things like that, which is normal I think...
But yeah, my dad has a whole different family, with two other children, he takes all my child funding (is that what it's called? It's in America, so I don't know) and my sister's too. All he needs is our birth certificates in his hand and he just takes it all from us. Not like we care... we have all the money we need... but the point of me saying that is because even after all that, I'm still a super happy person, and I think everyone else deserves to be as happy as I am.
Yeah I know that totally made sense *sarcasm*

It did!
LOL it is a group...wow...*experiences the dawn of realization*
Anyway, my dad hasn't ever done anything like that. This is exactly why I can have hope. Because people like yourself have surrvived things like that.

Ah money. The enemy of some, the friend of others. My family doesn't have a lot of it, but we get by.

We didn't have money before either... and yeah my father was to blame too *relates*
A couple of years ago, we lived in a run-down apartment with gangsters (creepy kind...) who set fire in the halls just for fun... our apartment was right next to their "headquarters" which was obviously not the quietest place in the world.
It's just that my mum decided to take up studying again, and she found herself an extremely well-payed job... and now we have a large house, good food, big allowance, good clothes and everything we want and need, just because we all stayed positive and happy... (and probably *some* luck involved... maybe...)
But yeah, Mrs. Haldir just forget about all the unimportant men in your life... you don't need them to survive. You don't need to get upset over them because it's just not worth it. Give yourself some credit for being able to make it this far!
EDIT:
Yeah... exactly Miluiel! Money isn't everything... money can't buy happiness, as they say. What good is it to have piles of gold when you're not even happy?

@Miluiel: We just barely do that's the sad part. We would've have been better if my mom didn't have to suddenly pay all my dad's bills and what not since everything was in his name and he at times would forge my mom's name.
@Haldir: I don't care about men as I have said before. I probably won't date again and two who said I need one to survive? This isn't the 50's when you did need one to survive. I'm only upset over the fact I'm not good enough and sick of being called all these horrible insults and that I'm not what the want. An arrogant Emoish tomboy? Hmm...yeah men don't like that. Oh well, too bad. They turned me onto the way I am.

*Agrees with every letter*
Gangsters It takes a LOT to survive pyromanical gangsters. *nods*
Mrs. Haldir: You're a lot older than me and you've surrvived worse conditions than I have. I'm pretty sure you'll make it. I mean, you've made it this far. So...have some hope and give yourself some credit.
