I don't know if I agree with dissecting animals really. I'm sure it's not really needed, not when there must be plenty of photographs and lots of detailed descriptions. I think if I ever had to disect anything I would have refused to do it.

Last year we got to dissect a sheeps eye and a frog...

when i first started rollerblading, i wore low socks, so the skin would get rubben off above my ankles, now i know to where like... super long socks.

I don't rollerblade. I used to skate with Tyler and Crosby until I gave myself a REALLY serious concussion last year.
Now I just go and hang around the skate park with them, occasionally taking a run here and there.

Swimming is the most dangerous to me, though.
I got like, twenty stings from the jellies in Mexico and cut my feet up on the stony bottom really bad.

I broke my ankle rollerskating last year... no bones pierced the skin and I didn't need surgery, just a cast.

I will never dissect anything. I'll take an 'F' if I have to and that's that. *sits down in corner with arms crossed*

I hate the jellies now, they were great until the little gangstas took me down.

Ouch, that must have hurt! It sounds like something i would do! lol. Great minds think alike! :) the tree kinda sliced me on my wrist area so i have gotten the question 'OMG, do you cut?' and i reply 'No, a tree attacked me.' Its pretty funny to see their reaction.
:-P

Yes it did. Lucky for me though it was not bad enough that I had to go to the hospital or anything. lol Yes indeed great minds think alike as the saying goes. :-D
Nice come back for that question. (laughs and high fives Amoniel)

Hmm dissecting animals in shcool..I have never done it and I don't ever want to. It seems a bit...pointless to me. I mean just cutting something open just to see what it looks like? (shrugs) I wouldn't mind like doing something like that to learn how to operate (I am going to pursue a career in acting...but the idea of being a surgeon has also appealed to me lol) would be much different but for no reason other than learning about what an animal looks like inside......I see it as pointless. Plus now they have detailed pictures and even fake animals for that kind of thing. So why even bother disceting the real deal? Just my opinion though.

As for rollerblading, I love it! I usally end up going skating instead though (because some of my other family members know how to skate...instead of rollerblade and thus far I have been unable to conveince them to try rollerblading). I went skating last year and the year before that for my birthday. It's great fun. However I am really bad it. Last time I came I even came home with bruises all up and down my legs and the skin part way tore off of my right knee. lol As for what I wear to skate/rollerblade...long socks...always a must have. They are nice to wear skating/rolllerblading because that way you don't get bruised/scratched as badly. ;) Then the very last time I went skating I did an elf theme in honour of my first time watching LotR (the day day I went skating was also the day that I watched LotR for the first time). :-D

Port, Sorry about your run in with the jellyfish.

I got stung by a jelly fish when I was eight...it really hurt.

As for dissection, I wish I would never have to but I probably will. :-(

Weelll....all I can say is.... if you swim in the sea....prepare to enter the home of the creatures it belongs to.

It's like when people go and swim in shark waters - all very sad if they die - but if they choose to swim where they shouldn't...... that's their fault.

I have never even seen Jellyfish, but from what I have seen of them on TV, they are super cool creatures, and you have to respect them and the fact they can hurt or even kill you.

^ Well that is extremely unlucky. And you don't have to do anything to a jellyfish as such, just accidentally brush past it, and it will sting you.

What I'm saying is, if a person swims in an area where creatures that can hurt you, are known to live, it is their own fault if they get hurt.

I don't think I would swim in the sea (even if I could swim) because there are too many things out there, that could injure me.
