Back pains as in over the loin?
I've heard people getting that, but fortunately my periods are light. I have a general discomfort and perhaps very light stomach cramps, but usually nothing more than can be cured with chocolate.
I feel very sorry for people who feel nuisances more than me. It's horrible to suffer once a month..  _________________ >>Be the change you wish to see in the world<<

We had this discussiona while back about these pills, and i believe that the general consensus was that sure it would be nice, but your period is vital to you staying healthy, its like a monthly purge thats actually good for you. And it hasn't been on the market for very long so i'm sure there will soon be some unwanted side effects.

As women, we need a lot of extra iron, and if we dont get rid of it, we can get sick, so having a period makes us rid ourselves of the excess iron that we end up not needing, so yes, its good for us.

^^Tis true about Iron, but if you have too-heavy periods (like me) then eating more iron can actually help.
Hmm...interesting about the new pill. I'm not worried about getting pregnant (already got a way to avoid that  ) but I'd happily take the no periods. I'm already on prescription pills to lessen my period, though, and they're alright. _________________ <center> all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us

Ohh a baby in the mail.. how handy! Then you also get to pick the colours of its eyes, the gender and perhaps even the genes! *coughcough* Scary...
Last time I went to donate blood the nurse gave me this list of food products containing a lot of iron... I'm not paying so much attention to it but... chocolate was on the list!! _________________ >>Be the change you wish to see in the world<<

chocolate makes me happy.
I wouldn't mind stopping my periods,but i can live with them, mine only go on for at most 3 days.
