I don't really flirt a whole lot. About 2 months ago I was really into flirting and stuff but at the beginning of May I had a wake-up call and just decided that I didn't really want to flirt and focus on my studies and my social life. I don't need a boyfriend right now, i want to wait to start looking for my life partner, not just play around with guys that i will never marry.

*Huggles Amoniel* I do love our name. It is indeed very unique- you're the only other person I know with the same name.
Anyway, I've never been on a date either. Honestly, I've never met a guy who I'd even be remotely interested in going out with at this point in my life. I'm just having fun with my friends and focusing on school, and I'm perfectly happy with that right now.

Your about the same as me. I'm not one to flirt either. Never have and never will. I think flirting is silly and it not really necessary. Nor do I think I need a boyfriend either. I've dated enough in 5 years or so now I'm just taking a break from it all and focusing on myself. I am doing the same thing of just waiting until is time to start looking again. I do not see myself being married anytime soon or really at all for that matter. It's not something I want to think about mainly because my long time ex and I were planning to marry but things didn't work out so you can see why that is the last thing on my mind.

I guess everyone is flirty at some point or another, sometimes you actually get far into a "conversation" by the time you notice that another might call it flirting. And anyway ... who needs to be able to flirt, when boys come after us anyway

I'm alright. It really bothered me at first but I got over and I'm all fine now. I'm happy being single so it's no worries for me. But thanks.

I don't think flirting is productive, it's kinda a waste of time because there is a 50% chance that the guy may not flirt back. Oh well. I need to bring up my grades and focus on other things like my diet and friends than talk to boys. Their not anywhere close to my priorities right now.

Personally I think college and uni are the best places to begin dating. Maybe at the end of secondary [high] school as well just to gain some experience. Otherwise, it's just not worth it. Relationships never last when your this young. Even at 16 [nearly 17] I can say I've never been on a real date in my life. Yes, I've had a boyfriend, but it just didn't work out the way we'd planned. Ended up friends anyway..
*sigh* I loathe when girls who are flirty practically throw themselves at guys. It makes me sick.. and when guys encourage it. Ugh. That's even worse.

It's kinda gross how girls act these days. You should come to my school dances, you would be appalled at the way girls and guys dance. There are a few groups, like my friends who totally rock out to our own style of dancing. But then again, the rest of the school forms a mob in the center and freaks. It's quite disgusting.

Or the music videos for all the rappers. All you see is the rapper sitting on a car, with money and bling and bunch of scantily clad overdeveloped women dancing around. Not attractive to anyone except very shallow guys.

Some of the stuff today makes me vomit a little bit in my mouth, if you know what I mean. I avoid many school dances for that reason. Usually a group of friends and I go and hang out at someone else's house on a night when a school dance is- we have more fun that way anyway. I just don't get how people can act like that. It doesn't make sense to me. I don't even know why people would want to act like that.

I rarely went to school dances. I think have only been to 3 or 4 in my entire high school life. They just were not my thing plus they bored me. The only times I had went was to hang out with a bunch of my friends.

Same here. And we just have fun talking and laughing. There's no point really in going. It's just a gathering of sluts dancing. Ugh, it makes me sick. I would rather have fun with my best friend somewhere else than a loud, hot room with a bunch of disgusting girls and guys. :[

At least you have school dances. I don't think that our school parties can be called school dances - basically it means the less you wear the better. And I'm staying away from those...
