Well then, your cousin was quite lucky. It is rare nowadays that a relationship turns out the way your cousin's did. I hate to say but in my personal experiences, I do believe that there is this so-called 'Right Person' out there. My last relationship started out just like your cousin's. Known each other for 3 years, dated for 2, we two were nearly inseparable and he too was one who helped me with alot of my problems but then everything suddenly went down hill, very down hill with no warning. It pained me deeply. As soon as it ended, I found myself falling back into the problems I was once had and changed who I was. Now, I realize that I do not need anyone.

Pretty much all the women on my mom's side of the family are short, so it's just something we have to put up with and quite a few of the men are pretty tall. I really dislike standing next to people who are like over 6'. I have to pretty look up at the sky to talk to them.

It is here in the States too. Plus when you look young for your age, it really thows people off. It happens to me all the time.

Oh, I am so glad that I am not alone! I am 14 (will be 15 this summer) and I am a mere 5'1. When I was about 11 or so people would tell me that they thought that I was five. I would get so mad. Thankfuly now I am a...uh...more defined and I do not hear that I am so young as much now. I still think that I will probabley be pulled over next year when I have my driver's liscence though..."are you really old enough to be driving ect". (sighs) I get it honest though my mother is in her thirties and she has even been asked before if she was fourteen...if she is fourteen...who is driving the car I ask? I asked her what did they think, that I was allready driving the car? The sad thing is though that on my mothers side I am taller than two or three of my cousins and two or three of my great aunts and they are all past the age of growing! So I have like no chance what so ever of being tall or even being average height (5'4 in America). As for dating a guy who was shorter than me...I guess that I would. I really do not know though. I have never had to ask myself that question and I probabley will never have to again. The fact of the matter is that most guys are going to be taller than 5'1 or 5'3 (hey I can dream that I will make it to 5'3...I still have a couple of months and one year to grow) unless I was to date a mexican. No offence meant I assure you but most Mexicans are short...just like most people in my family are short. It is nothing to be ashamed of. I am not against that though. So I guess yeah I would date a guy shorter than me. I do like short guys. lol Allmost all of the guys that I have had crushes on were short in fact. (There were a few exceptions though.) Well they were short for guys. Like 5'9 or 5'10. lol

i;'m also turnign 15 this summer, and i'm 5'3 and a bit as of right now... i'm hoping to be 5'4 and be taller than my mom eventually.

Soory, but i dont think i could handle going out with a guy shorter than me... its just... weird.

I'm only an inch taller then my mom. My younger sister is only 5'0'. Wow, we're all short as hell in this family.

I'm 5'5 1/2.
Sometimes I feel short, and sometimes I feel tall. It all depends on who i'm hanging out with lol.

And I might date someone who is shorter than me, if they are nice enough and cute enough

But I don't plan on dating anyone else but my boyfriend!

Actually, one of my friends is Hispanic, and he's 6' 5". Kind of funny, really.

I'm 5'2 and 3/4", and I turned fifteen not too long ago, and I'm most likely going to be the shortest in my family. It's pretty sad, really. I'd like to at least reach 5'5", but I kind of doubt it will happen. I haven't grown any since I was like, thirteen.

You probably will grow a couple more inches. I stopped growing when I was 17 which I had always assumed was the average age from growing days to end or 18 I cannot say, I guess it really depends. I'm stuck at 5'3" and I wished I was at least 5'6" but nope. But then again, like I had said before, the women on my mom's side are short plus young looking. It's just the way it is and you cannot fight it so you have to live with it.
