Will heard the ranger's call and looked up into the shadowy forest before them. He was extremely thirsty, but made no complaint as the annoying dryness of his throat irritated him.
Looking back to Elizabeth, who seemed to be slightly traveling at a slower speed, he sighed and awaited her to catch up to him. --------------------------------------------
Frodo continued to walk with his chin bobbing on his chest, as his head remained downcast. The tears would not fall no more......although the pain never subsided.
Upon hearing Aragorn's strong voice, it gave him strength and hope as they neared the Eleven forest.

Startled by Pippin's sudden falling, Merry knelt down and pulled at him. "Aragorn!" he called, causing the company to halt, "Pippin fell!" Boromir was already helping him to his feet, gently reviving the weary young hobbit.
But when he raised his eyes to the horizon, the truth seemed to somewhat sink in. "Is there no other way Aragorn?" He stood, still supporting Pippin with his firm grasp. "By strange paths we have thus been led, and so far no good has come of it! With loss still fresh upon our minds, we enter the Golden wood, a perilous land that they speak of in Gondor. It is said that few come out who once go in; and of that few, none have escaped unscathed."
He looked around him warily, as if expecting some other evil devilry to come at them. "I would rather a plain road, though it lead through a hedge of swords," he added.

Elizabeth topped a rise a little ways behind Will, turning to inquire something of a personage not visible from his position. This proved to be Legolas, who listened for a few moments with a bemused look and answered slowly. Elizabeth shook her head, the beginnings of a smile on her lips, and seemed to rephrase the same thing.
"Elves do not often sail, on ships, then?" she was saying, looking curiously at him. "Until they cross the - the -"
"To Valinor," said Legolas. "The Undying Lands. The call of the sea is born in every elf."
"We're goin' to visit the Elves in Lorien, Mr. Frodo," Sam was saying, looking anxiously at his downcast master. "Mr. Gandalf would have wanted that, wouldn't he?"

"Not unscathed, but perhaps unchanged," Aragorn replied, turning to face Boromir.
"Gandalf spoke of this Lothlorien," Barbossa interrupted. "An' a 'Lady Galadriel.' We will find aid here, then? As well as answers?"
"I am not certain," Aragorn answered truthfully. "I know only that Lady Galadriel is among the wisest and most powerful beings in Middle-earth. If anyone were in a position to aid you, I would expect it to be her." Addressing Boromir now, he added, "Lore wanes in Gondor, if in the city of those who once were wise they now speak evil of Lothlorien. Believe what you will; there is no other way for us, unless you would return to Moria-gate, or scale the pathless mountains, or swim the Great River alone."

Will began to walk slowly forward, awaiting Elizabeth to reach his side. Not noticing the conversation between Legolas and Elizabeth, he turned back just in time, as the exchanged words were over.
Everything seemed quite normal by physical appearance, but Will had a peculiar feeling about the unseen feelings between Elizabeth and Legolas....that elf that resembled himself in strange ways.... He pushed the thought aside and tried to regain his focus back on the safety of Lothlorien's woods. However, his subconscious mind began to return to the subject of the two individuals behind him. --------------------------------------------
Frodo's eyes looked weary upon Sam, "I suppose, my dear Sam. All I know is that the ring was given to me.....I must continue to Mordor."
Clutching the ring to his chest, as is dangled limply from the chain, his eyes blinked softly as the tears welled up, once again.

"An' no wiser dwarf will ever venture in that cursed realm," Gimli added darkly, squinting through his bushy eyebrows at Aragorn and the tallish man. He crested the rise and took a bare moment's rest, bracing his axe against the ground and propping his arm on its handle. His narrowed eyes roamed over the woods below, already striped in shadows of twilight. He had only to let his gaze linger a moment more and imagine lurking under the trees evil demons of shadow, not unlike the Balrog they'd just faced.
That phantasm had barely crossed his mind when he averted his gaze with an incoherent grumble. "Ye may put trust these elf-folk, Aragorn, but I'd say my trust is better placed." He scowled and hung back, casting a glance over his shoulder at the halflings. "Keep up, young hobbits. A'soon that the Ring-bearer falls behind will be the doom of us all."

(FM, Pippin never actually fell down, but okey, I'll go with it. Ha ha.)
Jack Sparrow marched on after the company with a weak step in his swagger.
No, he had never gotten to know the old Grey Wizard like the rest of the others had, but for a reason, the death of the fellow had made everyone troubled, including that of Jack Sparrow's persona.
He was quieter than usual, and his attentive attitude had faded down a few notches. Reaching up and itching the back of his neck, Jack said in response to the dwarf's words, "Th' doom of us all?. . .well that sounds maddeningly unhelpful."

[ah, sorry. Must've read that wrong. =/ ]
Stepping up in stride again with the Ranger, Boromir replied "Then lead us on; though it is perilous."
Ahead of the loomed the woods of Lothlorien, just as mysterious as Merry had always heard told of them. Once they entered the dense curtain of tree's, the hobbit said very little, and struggled to keep up... but the wheels in his bright mind never stopped turning. "Will the elves meet us then?" he asked suddenly, looking at no one in particular for an answer. "How will they know we are coming? Where will we look to find them?"

"Perilous it may be," Aragorn assented with a short nod, even as he began to walk again, "but it is fair. Only evil need fear it, or those who bring evil with them. Follow me!"
Barbossa could have sworn that the Ranger's gaze rested specifically on him for this last statement, but before he could even glare back properly, Aragorn had already run off again in the direction of the vast woods. Cursing under his breath and steeling his mind once more against the irritating pain coming from his ribs, Barbossa grudgingly followed the others down the slope.
The Company ran the remainder of the distance, all seeming a bit eager to reach the shelter of the woods despite the already-voiced complaints. The moment his feet crossed the border, Aragorn slowed his pace to a more leisurely walk, breathing deep the wholesome air. Even in winter, there were few places that could rival the splendour of Lothlorien.

Willaim followed close behind Barbossa who seemed to be stumbling along quite painfully. However, there was no time for questions...Aragorn was moving to fast and one could not take his or her time... -------------------------------------------
Frodo forced himself to run into the shadyness of the tall woods. His face and spirit were downcast, but as he entered, there was an energy and alertness that awoke him.
As the leaves fell from the trees, his eyes followed them with a soft flutter. It seemed as if they were whispering secrets of old.

Anyone, even a dwarf who was adamantly inclined to resist the eldritch spells of the elves, could have looked upon these woods and described them as beautiful. Thus it was that Gimli was refusing to look around, instead keeping his stare fixed on the ground rigidly ahead. But even the ground was a pleasant earthen hue, dappled in gold like the back of a fawn... He grunted to clear his head. Dappled in gold like the back of a fawn. Bah! Next thing he knew, he'd be writing poetry. Poetry!
To cover the silence and perhaps drown out the chirping of birdsong in the treetops, he glanced at the halflings trailing a few steps behind and spoke up, "Stay close young hobbits! They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods, an elf-witch of terrible power. All who look upon her, fall under her spell..." - here he paused, eyes darting back and forth, waiting for his words to sink in, then continued in a hushed whisper - "...and are never seen again.

Pippin stayed close to the group. The woods spoke to the hobbit in a calming, pleasent way through the cool breeze and the sounds of rustling leaves, but somehow, he still found himself uncomfortable.
Pippin raised his head and looked up. The dwarf spoke loud, and thus he overheard. "Under a spell?" Whispered the Took to the Brandybuck with a pinch of fear.

Frodo stayed close behind Gimli's stout frame. He figured that if there was any danger nearby, the dwarf would defend himself and his other fellow hobbits.
FRODO! It was a loud whisper above his head..... Searching the treetops, he breathed heavily.... YOU'RE COMING TO CLOSE! A bright set of blue all knowing eyes flashed before him, causing Frodo to stop dead in his tracks. THESE ARE THE FOOTSTEPS OF DOOM. YOU BRING GREAT EVIL HERE, RINGBEARER! What was it? A vision? A figure of his imagination?
