I usually don't use my purse very much when I'm going out.I love my backpack because I'm often out with my bike.  _________________

I like pockets though.  So I always carry lip balm around with me, as I have permenantly chapped lips.... Ok, so I bite them a lot and lick them a lot.... so sore though... 
I have permenantly chapped lips as well, though, part of my problem is I sleep with my mouth wide open. I refuse to think of the bugs I've probably eaten... 
I changed purses yesterday, and found a my lucky Coors bottle cap in the bottom of it, and guess what was in the other purse? twenty-eight dollars! Go me!

I don't have a purse... I have bags.
Cuz they need to be big enough to carry my writing notebook, sketch pad, drawing pencils, erasers, pens, a couple books, and often my Bible and prayer journal as well.

I find purses rather annoying actually. They always slip off of my shoulders and then the bag is hanging on the area near my elbow. I'm not really a girly-girl to begin with, but I have gotten purses... they're all hidden away in my dresser drawers.

I refer to those as handbags... (I'm not sure what others call them) but I totally know what you mean, JF. So I'm guessing a bag in the UK would be the same as a purse over here in the US?

I don't own a purse. I usually don't carry stuff around at all, except in my pockets, but if I need to, I use a very cool Nike bag or my camera case, which has a strap that goes over your shoulder.

Personally, there is nothing wrong with purses..and some of them, I dare say, are actually kind of cute.

^Ah, well if I'm wearing normal jeans, it's uncomfortable, but I usually wear cargos... they match every kind of top, and they have huge pockets

I have several purses... They are essential for me! I usually use my big black one (it's more of a basic bag) with a cloth whale safty pinned onto it... It's kind of ugly but I like it
Or I use my black/purple courderoy one (I like to call it my "gothic" one, because that's what it reminds me of lol). I ALWAYS need a purse... I always carry along my cell phone, wallet, gum, chapstick, face power and brush (I can get rather shiny when it's hot out lol), car keys, sunglasses, etc...
