At first I didn't like Radiohead, but I've taken a liking to them recently.
I just bought "The Bends", I have "Kid A" on my iPod, and I listen to "Creep", and a few other songs of theirs on YouTube.
So far, I'm loving "The Bends", great CD. I prefer it to "Kid A".
Any other Radiohead fans?

Hahahaha I started to get interested in Radiohead by watching an episode of 'South Park'. I have heard a couple of songs of them in Last.fm radio and I like them. I need to find more songs

A agree with you there. I think they're excellent.

anyone else love their new album, Rainbows? The only thing better than it is their "pay if you think its worth it" deal. I predict a massive shift towards that style of releasing albums.

Eh, I got In Rainbows yesterday and I can't decide if I like it or not. I dunno, I guess I was expecting something as immediately amazing as OK Computer or The Bends. The problem with In Rainbows is that other than Reckoner, it really doesn't have anything that I'd put on to actually listen to, and tracks that immediately jump out at me. It's more like background music.
So I'm not unhappy, just slightly unimpressed.

Oh I got it last week. I like some of their songs like House of Cards. But I don't know. It is a lot different than OK Computer or Kid A.

yeah for sure it's a lot different, but it also just happens to be the kind of music i've been looking for right now. Like timtimtim said, it's sort of background music. I like to think of it more as relaxing music. Perfect to listen to as you're lying in bed or meditating, because of its atmospheric side, but it also has melodies that arent included in most of my atmospheric music. I'm loving it!
I guess that after 2 and a half years of listening to pretty much exclusively metal, im liking having less of an assault on the ears every once in a while.

I don't know for you guys, but as a student and an artist, I find Radiohead the best thing I can play while studying or doing homework or drawing or Photoshopping. It's just absolutely soothing. Even the insane songs like Idioteque can be soothing to me.

^Yep, it's definitely the same for me, you've said it perfectly. For me, the homework song is "Reckoner." I can put it on loop for hours while working.
This is me crawling back with my tail between my legs to revise my review of In Rainbows. Yesterday someone recommended I try listening to the bonus disk that came in the box set, and sure enough, there was exactly what I was hoping for. So to make a long story short, I gave In Rainbows a second chance and... fell in love.
