Ballet seems to be the big topic here right now. I was never into the kind of thing or into any really girly thing for that matter. I was pretty much a tomboy. I liked sports and books. Sure, I played dress up and played with Barbies but not much. I prefered my Legos over my Barbies. I even played with my brother's Matchbox Cars often. I'm still a tomboy today.

I never found ballet hard... but I did start when I was 5. I've never been much of a "girly girl," but I've always loved dance, which a lot of people find strange. I think it's just the jumping and the way of movement.

But I like sports a lot, too. Not much of a runner, though, I have really weak lungs.

I didn't play sports but I did climb trees. I didn't really care all that much for dolls but I did play dress up. And I've never worn pants (except pajamas) but I definitely don't care about shopping or fashions. What AM I? *shrugs*

^ Oh wow. You don't want to see me some days... my favorite pair of trousers/pants are orange and black (orange seams), and I wear 'em all the time with anything, and only 2 t-shirts actually match it.

I have one guy friend, but he's more like a brother, their whole family is like second family.

Answering your earlier question: The schools here are the RAD syllabus (no offense to any of you who do RAD...), and I grew up with Vaganova, which (in my opinion) is waaay better. Plus the school had absolutely no focus on technique, just preparing for the exam so the kids would pass onto the next level, no matter how AWFUL their technique was.

Yeah... I used to do that with dance, too, I just knew it, did it, breathed it...

^ Pranking is incredibly fun. We do a lot of girls versus guys pranks on our youth campouts. Last year the girls won the prank war that extended into April. We had sabatoged cupcakes and blue food coloring.

We also had the guys vs girls just in youth group, for the games... and the girls won. Of course. Even though ALL of the challenges were geared toward the guys... haha.

From my blog:
Sadly, we didn't get to pull off our 2 best pranks. The guys were strictly forbidden to enter the girl's side after lights out, so we couldn't attack them. But Leslie and Elisabeth sprayed perfume over the guys tents, and they found the air horn and took the horn so the guys couldn't keep us up with it. We also dyed the guys tongues blue by squirting blue food coloring into their drinks while they weren't watching. In the end, the guys only soaked a few of us with water balloons.

That was just the campout... the full prank war story is here: http://lady-kyleian.blogspot.com/2007/0 ... -days.html
